I love the way she takes her time with this song....the way she lets the feelings the words evoke mature. So much vulnerability and tenderness....one of my favorite versions of this beautiful song.
Love her textured alto the woman can sing her ass off but unfortunately because of the nonsense that goes on in the music industry which BTW killed her father as he was killed for breaking the oath he did not commit suicide and neither did Hyman they were both killed she will never get recognition she deserves she is not some pop artist Like Carey or Houston who appealed to the white masses because they are prostitutes for the labels who whore them out. Lalah stands for honesty and integrity

@MsLilDin - No burden at all. She's a sublime artist unto her self, but because she shares her father's DNA and THAT VOICE... Sigh.. No one else can do the song justice the way she can.

She is the spirit her Father and she shows great respect for her ancestors as we all should. This whole experience of hearing her sound like her Father is spiritual and so emotional for me. I saw her father in one of his bad moments and she always puts him back in the proper positive perspective as one of the worlds foremost entertainers of any generation.
