honestly I spent 15+ minutes trying to get the first arm out so i gave up and i figured out you can just slide the top small ear sock off the back too but it takes a little while and a little bit of manuvering till u get the hang of it
I wanna change my lenses in mine flak jackets XLJ , so thats the reason why I watched this video. Though the way you showed me kinda scares me the way you took them out.
I wonder why he's struggles a bit on 2:39 and later to slide the ear socks and the other thingy off... mine slide right off without much effort. I wonder why. mine are brand new.
has anyone had the arms loosen up a little after replacing the earsocks? I sort of warped the socket, twisting the same way as in the vid. I think it's inevitable, the lower nub in the pic at 2:32 looks kind of bent too
Guy's, these frames are amazing! I just bought a pair the other day and upon checking out the employee was showing me how to change the lenses and once the lenses were out he took the frame and twisted it literally 180 degrees like he was wringing out a towel. I was like, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?! but he assured me that these frames are flexible and strong enough to handle it.
@bournebutler I completely know what you mean, experiment with where you're bending the frame and by how much, it'll go eventually. It took me like 15 min to get that f*cker back in.
Damn.... now where tf did my nose piece go...

@johnpatlanta i have a pair of foakleys that slide right off, maybe yours are fake
zshortyz 1 year ago
@zshortyz they can't be. I ordered them from oakley.com
Actually the earsucks don't really slide "right off" they're just not as tight as his.

johnpatlanta 1 year ago
@johnpatlanta same. it's ridiculous how much the material of the frame can bend
ZuluWun 1 year ago
lol, I'm cautious about bending my frame too. I'm pretty sure they can handle more than that though
