  • jus got my first 2 stroke today and im in love

  • nothing but likes from this guy! and everyone else haha

  • Thank you for this. This has motivated me to put a top end in my 09 250sx and get back in the saddle asap.

  • @2strokerider a top end is simple, why would you procrastinate that. At least you dont have to rebuild your whole motor like me.

  • @TheKawi125rider I locked mine up solid at 20 hours on the whole bike. Piston split around the wrist pin, which is a factory defect and KTM didn't want to replace it. So 2400$ later buying the parts at cost, and doing the work myself I was able to ride it again. Yes a top end is very simple on these bikes. Hell the 4 strokes are not hard to do a top end on either. Other than the little nicks and nacks here and there the bike has been a great bike. The stock expansion chamber quality is shit. lol

  • @2strokerider wait, it cost you $2400 to do a top end?

  • @TheKawi125rider I could give you the parts list but that would be long and pointless. Basically, cases were split open, and ill list the major stuff. Crank, rod, bearings, cylinder, piston, head, all bearings, and a couple other odds and ends. It also included the clutch basket, fibers and steels, pressuer plate and a bunch of other odds and ends we replaced while we were inside it..No a top end is around 180ish

  • @2strokerider U said top end at first. And in doing the same thing to my bike as ur doing, the parts cost around $750

  • @TheKawi125rider I have a bit more extensive list though ;)

  • @2strokerider Doubt it. I have porting, sleeving, boring, piston, rings, head milling, crank rebuild, ALL bearings and seals, gaskets. It costed around $800 for me.

  • @TheKawi125rider no man hes right i did the top end on my yz 250f it cost about $250 in parts

  • @Atheistpimate so does yami

  • @RampagePanzer KTM updates theirs though :P

  • so does yamaha they still have two strokes but not as much as ktm

  • I wanted to see him launch the step up

  • I like my yz and my yzf

  • @shanemoto97 Yes, Yz ftw :P

  • TEEHEE 69 views LL2S ( long live two strokes )

  • There's one thing I don't like about this guy, he's better than me..

  • 2 strokes are beast

  • KTM rocks for keeping the two strokes alive.

  • @Atheistprimate and yamaha

  • @ncmpracer13 Hard to count Yamaha since they have not updated their two strokes in five years now, 2012 Yz250 is the same bike as the 2006 with just new graphic (stickers) as the only changes.

  • @Atheistprimate Oh, well they still have them, atleast. Unlike Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, etc.

  • @Atheistprimate And Yamaha

  • @lilt739 hard to praise a six year old bike

  • @Atheistprimate yamaha is too...

  • @RampagePanzer hard to praise a six year old bike

  • @Atheistprimate yami is still makin em

  • @Atheistprimate i still beat ktm with my suzuki ;)
