At the beginning of the video, he's saying that the dollar will start losing value and then people will start spending their money on consumer items and precious metals. Isn't this exactly what we need to get the economy working again? If people start buying things, won't that lead to employers hiring more people and force us out of this recession?
From what I understand, I believe he is talking more about diverting cash.dollar to more solid currencies that will hold value. @pucknut68 The only reason there is no social or political unrest is because most of the people in our country either A: Naive enough to believe that their present powers-that-be are telling them the truth....or B: Have too much to lose. I.E. property. Only when people have nothing left to lose do they become inclined to take action. Which is why when the system collapses suddenly (when the government stops propping it up) there will no no hope for America left.

I have notice the Police depts around the country are unionizing, this is not good. What will happen is a strike by them one day and the military will be called in to patrol. The police depts are not a part of the NWO. They ill not be the security force, so all there is to do, is give them a contract that they will not like, and they will strike and get fired.

My problem with eliminating the Inheritance tax is that the six heirs of the Walton empire will pay no taxes when their heirs inherit a wealth now equivalent to that being held by 100,000,000 Americans. On top of that Ron Paul proposes giving the wealth that funds social security to individuals for them to give it to hedge funds et al to gamble, on the premise that individuals have the information to make a wise investment decision. The rest I kind of like.

I love Ron Paul, but something doesn't quite make sense. At the beginning of the video, he's saying that the dollar will start losing value and then people will start spending their money on consumer items and precious metals. Isn't this exactly what we need to get the economy working again? If people start buying things, won't that lead to employers hiring more people and force us out of this recession?

From what I understand, I believe he is talking more about diverting cash.dollar to more solid currencies that will hold value. But I agree he did say consumer products so I'm not sure if he really meant metals or I'm missing something, but I see what your talking about brad3378. People saving their money and not taking on debt can help deflate the circulation of dollars ...

which would help increase the value of the dollar, but if the government keeps spending/taking on more debt then what consumers do is pretty much pointless because inflation will keep devaluing the value our currency. I'm not an economist though s I could be wrong. I do realize though that the FedReserve/banking elite love inflation with their fractional reserve funny money policies.

Ron Paul is basically saying that we buy everything we want now before prices rise. When hyperinflation hits us, it will be like buying stuff for 10 cents on the dollar. The smart people will be the ones who borrow money now at a low fixed interest rate, buy gold, and then sell the gold later to pay off their loans in hyperinflated dollars. The money left over is pure profit! It's really the investment opportunity of a lifetime!

I agree,but how many people have that kind of money/credit to do what you are saying, the smart people would do that now, but this shit is planned so most of the individuals who are able to convert to precious metals and get loans are either a small minority of average joes who happen to have extra cash/assets laying around or the majority of billionaires and trillionaires who saw this coming and will exploit it like W. Buffet, Gates, but again brad your right on and I don't diasagree.
