  • nicely done and very clever. made a few alcohol stoves and this solves the priming problem hands down will make one myself at the first instance. well done

  • Pls see info tab link in the Making of CiT MX Alcohol Stove unpolished version. Thanks

  • Beat design so far, I want to make one now. Please show us how.

  • Very nice. Interesting design for sure. All in one primer, pot stand, stove, and lantern. Light weight. If need be or if someone wanted to I guess you could use solid fuel also. Thanks for the video.

  • Nice ... looks romantic :-)

So even an ultralight hiker can impress women and they can overlook that you're on trail with just one unterpant.

  • Tutorial?

  • whewre did you get that lighter?

  • This is by far the best alcohol stove design out there. I have made many types of alcohol stoves and this one has all the pro's of many designs without the cons. No pot stand needed, no pre-heating needed, long burn time, and the list goes on. I found this design by mistake. I thought the claim of 22 minute burn time was false until I made one myself and have 23 minutes. I have consitantly got 2 cups of water to boil just under 3 minutes with 10-12 minutes of burn time remaing.

  • @Toiwnz

Thanks for the comment. It took me couple of design and finally came to this, decided to name it Mutant MX as it can be used in many ways, with turbo or without or with build in support for narrow pot (MXS). Check the blog for more info.
