  • If only the Blazers could return to their former glory

  • wow I don't know Hitler had been the head coach.

  • The 3 dislikes are Blazers fans. An im one of them:)

  • Ahmad cut his hair.

  • The 91 and 92 Bulls titles showed exactly how complete the teams were. Everyone knew what MJ does, and were starting to really see what Scottie could do, but games like this, ESPECIALLY in the 4th quarter, showed exactly that the pieces around the two may not have been Hall of Famers, but they were the backbone to the team and could hold their own when their leader wasn't on the floor...truly a great team

  • Michael Jordan is the People's Champ in basketball.

  • whoever caught that ball that he threw at 10:38 is the luckiest person ever lol

  • jordan is the best

  • Damn, Pippen was killin em!

  • yup thats true jordan and bryant are best in shooting..

  • the great one!

  • the great one!

  • People forget that the Bulls bench basically won this game for the Bulls. They got them back into the game for Jordan. Of course Jordan then proceeded to do what MJ always does. Put the hammer down on the CryBlazers.

  • The same thing that plagued the Blazers throughout the postseason the previous two years was their inability to hold a lead in the fourth, execute offensively which led them to panic and blow games. The Bulls had no business winning this game, they just kept their cool in the fourth and made plays the Blazers didn't. The Blazers strangely enough, in the '92 playoffs were able to close out games and kept their poise, if only they had done that in game 6.

  • @t82486, here's another thing Kobe has done that Jordan never did. Jordan never lost a finals series. And next time you disagree with someone learn to come up with concrete points instead of ad hominem attacks. You're better than that.

  • Scottie was the man in the 4th quarter in this game...bringing the team back with the bench and carving up the Blazers.

  • There is no next Michael Jordan, there are only imitators of Jordan.

  • The Jordan rules. BS!!!!

  • Clyde was rthe ONLY player to hang with MJ!!!!!

  • I love the way Marv Albert says, " Jordan "

  • One thing overlooking this game in the 4th quarter is that Portland went the last 3:00's or so with no timeouts left, poor clock and game management by Adleman!!!

  • DREXLER DISLIKE THIS VIDEO! XD

  • @BB0ysGam3s fuck your stupid ass thumb comment faggot

  • VHS... LOL XD

  • @654magicman YEAH I AGREE WITH YOU MJ IS MJ... BUT MORE RESPECT FOR KOBE MAYBE HE IS A FAN FROM MJ... LIKE WE...

  • rick adelman looked like Hitler back then

  • Just look at that face at 10:48. You alright there buddy? lol

  • 1 person is a kobe fan

  • best team ever

  • Kobe studied Jordan and other players for years and years on videos. He even has similar facial expresions, that's why the celebration similarities

  • its epic if u live in chicago!!! chi-town here

  • The look on Rick Adelman's face says it all. "I can't fucking believe we blew a HUGE lead late in the game!!!" lmao

  • this is the first(?) great melt down by trailblazers, 17 points lead...going away...very similar to the 2000 west finals.

  • chills

  • epic

  • why must kobe's name be brought up in every discussion of MJ? im a die hard lakers fan, but feel it's almost criminal to compare the two as michael was the superior player.

  • Epic...

  • i'm sorry but the defense played on jordan in this game is absolutely pathetic to what kobe faces against the celtics. jordan is basically getting one on situations from the post any time he wants. all the 80's 90's basketball watchers fabricate lies about how defense was so much tougher in the 90's but when you actually watch the games they just sound senile.

  • @dopeness

defenses back then were way more physical. You can't be older than like 24

  • @chicofontaine you are 100% percent on the level of defense back then...but it was to many time in that game were i saw "the glide" with some mediocre defense...and im 26 turning 27 and i remember watching that game as a shorty living in chicago

  • @dopeness and when people talk about how Kobe faces tougher defenses they just sound uninformed and ignorant. so pick your poison.

  • this series is look eerily similar to the Lakers Celtics right now.

    LA+Bulls take Game 1. Celtics+Blazers take Game 2. Lakers+Bulls take Game 3. Celtics+Blazers take Game 4. Who will take Game 5?

  • I think this was the toughest of all 6 series the Bulls won.

  • "17 down, and they win it! Unbelievable!"

  • You know Drexler's foul on Pippen in the open court would've been so much worse today... Meaning the defender would've clobbered him so much that Pippen would've almost broke his neck.

Plus I think the stupid camera men are way closer now on those end lines.

  • JORDAN AND BULLS, LOVED IT

  • drexler was a monster! portland was pretty loaded, drexler, porter, cliff robinson, kevin duckworth(all 4 all stars around this time), danny ainge, jerome kersey, buck williams. they also were in the finals in 1990, but lost to another all time great team, the bad boys

  • blazers choked 92 finals if chicago was more serious than they showed it would and shohould have been 3 1 for Bulls, they had Drexler and Porter , but Chicago was a lot deeper and talented than Portland

  • look at jordan close out yet another close title clinching game. clutch drive to put them up 4, then calmly hits 2 clutch free throw to put them up 4 with 11sec left, to ice the game

  • kobe tried 2 jump like jordan did when the won

  • The Blazers were jobbed in that 4th quarter. Remember that the next time you squeeze one off to MJ's highlights.

  • Portland was inferior to me

  • Nah Portland jobbed themselves!

  • its hard to believe this was 17 years ago!! I remember this game like it was yesterday. Great to see it again!!!

  • yeah, i was 10 that year in the 4th grade.

  • 10:40-10:44 that's the celebration jump Kobe was doing two days ago. Kobe's not authentic at all

  • i know ima kobe fan and he does copy jordan its obvious. kobe did the exact same thing lol

  • @kobe2483324 well i guess if ur gonna copy someone, why not copy the greatest of all time ya know? be lucky that he isnt trying to copy someone like dickie simpkins..lol

  • @kobe2483324 Same thing, I like Kobe but he cried during his first championship like Michael, He jumped up in 09' like MJ did in 92', and his celebration in 2010 was EXACTLY like Jordan's in 97'... Not to mention the copied moves and showing 2 fingers, 3 fingers, 4 fingers, etc when he gets a ring... All that being said, it's OK if Kobe does these things, but at least admit you want to be like Jordan because it's obvivous

  • absolutly rite

  • @Generalisimo27 ya damn right he isn't i saw the damn thing myself...

  • Comment removed

  • @Generalisimo27 kobe is a jordan clone strait up

  • @Generalisimo27 kobe's a clone tell him to get the fuck outa here

  • Kobe may have copied some things from Jordan, just like Jordan copied things from David Thompson and Doctor J(his favorite players), Just like Magic copied things from Bob Cousey....so what the point? Every body have emulated they're play from somebody else...but put there own style and flavor to it. ALL GREAT ARTISTS, ATHLETES AND BUSINESSMEN ALIKE DO SO ASSCLOWN!!!!! But i'll tell one thing Jordan ain't do....he ain't won no Finals with a broken finger and a hurt knee...bet that shit!!!!

  • @T82486 kobe even tries to walk and talk like jordan its pathetic

  • @T82486 he copies everything. that's the bad thing. copies never are as good as the originals, and Jordan>Kobe

  • The Blazers had the same kind of 4th quarter meltdown 8 years later in the WCF against the Lakers.

  • Bobby Hansen baby! What a game and what an ending!

  • This Portland team wasn't anything special, yes they did have Drexler, but it's clear how the bulls team was superior when they wanted to play,

  • Holy frak, this just gave me a ten-minute-goosebump!!!

  • Rick Adelman is pissed

  • Man, Phil had some balls in the fourth quarter. With the team down 15 points in Game 6, he SIT OUT, the greatest player of all time to put in Bobby Hansen, Scott Williams, Stacey King out there with only Scottie and BJ having the most talent, but not MJ talent. To have trust in guys like King, Williams and Hansen who were basically the end of the bench, and to have them out there to be the ones to start a rally in the NBA finals, takes huge balls.

  • Bulls won the 4th Quarter 33-14

  • This was a weird series. If you watched games 1, 3, 5, and the first three quarters of games 2 and 4 you would think there was no way Portland could possibly have won a game in this series. The Bulls were so obviously the superior team yet somehow Portland managed to defy logic and steal two games late in the fourth quarter. Then, in the one game where Portland actually plays well the first 3 quarters, they lose it in the fourth.

  • 4:45 i dont think MJ was going for the trey, i think when he went up he thought about passing it because of how flat his shot was, but it was still nothing but net

  • comeback from 15 down... IN THE 4th! FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP? NOW THAT IS DEFENCE AT ITS BEST!

  • I liked Jerome Kersey when he was on Portland. He was an enforcer sometimes.

  • I remember this night like it was yesterday. My friends and i were celebrating on Rush St. while everyone was flooding the streets. Traffic was at a stand still as the Riot Police made their way towards the massive crowds in an attempt to stop people from tippin cars and looting. It was an unbelievable sceen. People standing on anything they could. Rooftops, cars, buses, Ect. Jordan & Co. standing on the table afterwards celebrating with everyone is something i'll never forget, peace.

  • Man, Drexler was just crazy on the break. Dude goes up strong every time. But of course MJ is still the king!

  • The Bulls SHOULD HAVE swept in 91,93,96 and 98...especially 96

  • Maybe, but for sure not 93. 93 was probably the toughest year for them Jordan averaged over 40ppg too.

  • good times im glad im from chicago

  • me2

  • Great ending to a great series. Scottie & Co brought the Bulls back with their defense late in the game, Jordan cheering on the sideline. Then he came back into the game and totally destroyed the Blazers in a couple of minutes. There won't be another.

  • Is it me or when the Bulls were making a comeback I had flash backs to win I was in the 5th grade watching this and I was cheering. Great memories and another Portland meltdown

  • i compare drexler to lebron james. they have the same physical build and physical mannerisms. james is a little bigger and has better passing abilities. other then that they are very similar.

  • sick in 97 finals....game winner in 98 finals

  • uhhh...are u guys forgetting the UTAH JAZZ IN THE 97 AND 98 FINALS???? Where Mj had to play SICK...and had to score 45 including the game winner in game 6 TO WIN THE SERIES??? to be honest...THE JAZZ WAS THE BETTER TEAM BOTH YEARS!!! but the bulls had Mj to set them apart!!!!

  • i dont think the jazz had a better team. i think it had to do with the bulls health. if the bulls would have been healthy and rested in the finals they wouldve won easily. the bulls were worn down and injured both years. the bulls had a deeper bench, more athletic players and bigger players in almost every position except pf. your right though that it was jordan who carried them through those series.he willed his team to victory

  • Ture cause in the 97 series Pippen and Kukoc both had foot problems and in 98 Chicago and even Jordan said it in an interview with Ahmad before game 5 of 98 that Utah should've been sweept 4-0

  • If the Jazz were really the better team how come they couldn't come up with a championship either year???

Since MJ was on the Bulls, that makes the Bulls the better TEAM and they got the championships to prove it!

  • i see what u saying....but Jordan was that factor no one could stop...if not for him....malone and stockon would have 2 rings

  • Superman is back in the building.

  • What a team :-)

  • drexler does look arrogant, portland lacked a personality to lead them though, he had individual flashes of brilliance, but no real presence like mike and pipp. likewise on the two lost games, could have been a sweep. i remember that 1st game well, as I had it on vhs as a kid, it was over by halftime. it was up to the bulls when they turned out the light. wasn't till phoenix they were really tested, the lakers were old the series before.

  • I think New York challenged them in the ECF 1993 and maybe Phoenix in the Finals and the Indiana 1998 :-)

  • completely agree. especially after the intense ecf 92 this series looks especially boring. drexler is really not doing good at defense on the whole series. same here for me, i had the whole series on tape as a kid, i remember jordan was like a superman making all the beautiful yet difficult shots. now i got older and i realize that it is not just jordan superhuman ability, but also the portland lack of defense. so many time you see drexler not even trying to challenge mj fadeaway

  • i have never see anyone guarding jordan not doing anything like he does to mj. i know he was always in early foul trouble in this series, which also explain why he isnt that great besides his amazing athleticism. he didnt understand how to raise his team's overall performance.

and yes too, the lakers were a bit too old for the bulls, but it was a fun series to watch. i think the games were closer in that series that the 92 final as well.

  • too bad the knicks could never meet the bulls in the final, those ECF series were so intense. watching that doesn't compare to these games with portland

  • Portland did a good jobe only in game 2.

  • I felt Phoenix should have been sweept as well, Chicago won the first 2 and laid an egg in games 3&5. I especially felt they had a chance to win game 3 and would have won 4-0 vs. the Suns

  • you have to remember in game 3 of the 93 finals against the suns, the suns went to the free throw line over 30 times the bulls in 3 ots only went 9 TIMES WTF?!!!! i always thought that game was rigged

  • yeah they did get to the line, but I also remember MJ had a chance to expend the lead to 3 points and missed a free throw cause I think he was tired (This was in the 2nd OT) but Marjale hit a jumper to tie the game and eventually send it to a triple OT

  • does anyone else feel that this was a kind of boring series? Before you cane me about mike's 3's etc. I feel like portland never turned up? guess the phoenix series was one of the best. anyone else?

  • i feel the same. it has to be most boring final with the bulls imo.

it is like drexler never tried hard enough to guard jordan( could be drexler's arrogance?). and overall the portland team has pretty bad outside game as well. pippen and grant almost totally outplay the opponent along with jordan. i was surprised to see the bulls lost two games.

  • well I feel the Seattle series was the most boring. I actually liked this series for some reason. But I do agree I felt Chicago should have sweept Portland

  • Classic comeback. Nice job.
