about the copy thing.. I do believe that if you move the object while pressing the key "alt" (in my case) you are able to copy it -) cheers.. maybe it didnt help anyone.. but indeed it works for me (and yes, I am also using the evaluation version)
I DONT KNOW IF YOU KNOW THIS BUT IF YOU GO TO TRANSFORM>COPY, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PICK THE OBJECTS TO COPY THEN THE POINT TO COPY FROM. WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT DOING IS COPYING TO CLIP BOARD EVALUATION WON'T LET YOU DO THAT
Hi, really cool tutorial, thanks a lot. I´m from mexico city and i´m actually starting with rhino, it was very helpful, i´ll try to send you some of the things we´re doing over here!!!
you don't need to retype the numbers each time for the second and third legs, you can just hit enter. good video for people that have never used the program before and don't know where to start. I've been using rhino for years now (started back in rhino 1) and never knew about the cap command, I'd always just changed the extrude options while extruding, or would forget to, then have to delete it and re-extrude then change the cap option during the extrude.
can you do a super basic tutorial about the uses of some of the tools...just explaining in beginners tongue? thanks a lot. btw i think your doing a great job!
By the way - you can copy in the eval version - use the button second from bottom on the left, next to 'Rotate' - makes a big difference instead of your repeat-parameter entry
There is another way to copy and paste on the trial version.
Go to transform on the top and hit copy, select your item and then drag where u want it to go
