Haha yeah dude, Same boat here, bought my 01 2.8 because if the price, little did I know the lack of performance potential lol. In This video, the car has Remus sport label axle back exhaust, with a resonator delete. Thats it. The 2.8 might be weak in the hp department, but it sure has a sweet wail to it.
700 will get you axle back, it is resonated as in it uses the factory resonator. It still made a noticable difference in power, just not as throaty sounding. Of course, you can choose to either get rid of the resonator or keep it when you install.
Which is easy BTW, the hangers fit right up, and so do the pipes to the stock exhaust.
Man it almost does sound like my car. I told you how close the motors and mufflers sound. You almost wouldn't know the difference unless we were lined up and did a 1/4. I posted a video to show you close it was. This was a 13.4 run with the chip off. My best time with the chip on is 12.71
so its a 2.8L non turbo A6 right?

@joesta19 same thing happened to me. i didn't much about audi's. so i got 3.0 and found out about 4.2 and 2.7t..i was like Damn it! lol
