A pro swimmer should be able to do a better job of rolling to her side for breathing. She should demonstrate rolling to her side completely with minimal head turn. Sandra is right, kicking shouldn't be that splashy, as it gives false impression to beginners.

No she's right! There shouldn't be that bend in her leg either - thats creating a bigger arch in the leg and creating more splash and creating more drag so the stroke is less efficient!
toes pointed not necessarily a bad, but to do good better i would saying keep kick out of water or not too much splash but without a good techiques it's all up in question anway. i think it just a matter of split second decision.

the kick is incorrect!!! your feet should not exit the water, it should just break on the surface, giving minimum splash. the objective is to tread water not air, hence, your feet should be in the water not out of it. however, this is a very effective breathing drill.

I call that the moonface technique. It is a fully rotated head which creates drag (slow). It also is reinforcing a bad habit that difficult to correct in young swimmers (6-11).
You're not supposed to bend your knees while kicking.......... ._.
