Too bad the movie completely misrepresents the actual trial, kind of like Marxist phonies masquerading as news reporters and the gullible liberal professors who believe them teach a lie that any part of evolution could be called actual science. In fact, the theory has been repeatedly shown BY SCIENCE to be a fraud, a physical impossibility.
inherit the wind is very loosely based upon the real trial, The town of Dayton is not accurately depicted nor is Mr scopes , Mr scopes was not arrested and forced into a jail house nor where there any mobs whipped up against him, The real Mr scopes had been recruited by the aclu & the town council to voluntarily get himself arrested in order to challenge the butler law, The town council hoped it would draw publicity to boost their ailing economy & bring national attention to Dayton.
Do you wanna know why religious people have always violently and aggressively forced their beliefs on others who did not believe in what they believe in? it's because religious people are in pain and suffering because of their religious beliefs, and that makes the believers JEALOUS of the unbelievers cuz they don't suffer the way the believers suffer (mentally and physically).So the believers force the unbelievers to believe in their beliefs in order to see the unbelievers suffer like they do.

Yep, this is exactly why our founders (in the U.S.) started a secular government.

@SuperPatrick777 lolz
The only way in which we are a "christian nation" is the fact that most people here are christians. So we're also a female nation.
