Southern California has been having bark beetle infestation problems for a while now.The Big Bear Fires from a few years ago,were said to be worse than they should've been.Many of the trees in the forests were allready dead wood and burned more ferociously than if it had been a healthy forest.Requests had been made to the state government and National Forest System to do something about it,but both just sat on their hands and did nothing.
