  • Probably my favorite Eurythmics album. Thanks for the images.

  • Do you know what this song is about? I am not sure that these images work with in the context of the song.

  • @baudalair1

It's from the movie 1984 (based George Orwells book) it's after Wiston and Julia have been "broken" y the tourght police.

  • pure genius!

  • Genuinely intriguing song. Almost an instrumental, but not quite. Ms Lennox's vocal flourishes are beautiful as usual. Superb.

  • Guuurrrrlllll! You bettah work! I love the feminist interpretation you gave this song. I bet Miss Annie would love being lumped with Marlene and Rosa Parks. I associate this song with orgasm, but your video connects it to women's rights. I'm very impressed!

  • Still awesome after all these years -one of the funkiest and spunkiest performances !

  • Amazing vocal, considering not a word is sung; she hums right through to just about 1:25, then opens her lips and it just devastates you. WOW!

  • That soundtrack was very underrated. It's fantastic - so dark and haunting!

  • really good bassline

  • Beautiful use of this song for what you say here. Wonderful! Cheers! Glad this music inspires in such caried ways!

  • Fantastic song off a fantastic album, pure genius it was!!!

  • Thanks Ron -- I couldn't agree more! This was one of those defining albums for me.

  • This is their best work. I really didn't like them as a kid much, but my sister let me hear it when it came out and I was blown away. She has one hell of a set of pipes, and this showcases it better than anything else.
