i love your strange corner videos, i hope you dont disapear, we all need a break in your own time man no pressure. but your vids are very entertaining they help keep me sain good to chill to and you make me laugh, i used to have trouble with the rollies just dont roll em too tight, there better than straights and yea do a vid on smoking all the best dude. rob
Yup, he is slightly dodgy, but hey, we are all about dubious looking bots right? As for meeting up, that would be grand. I was talking to George earlier today who said that your move had been successful. I visit to see you to celebrate your settling in would be great.
@WolfKang1 Are you getting Knightstick from the classics Cyclonus and repaint him as the Targestmaster for Blurr?, great review by the way as always, love the alt mode even though is outdated, doesn't matter, it still looks great.
@rick4777 ... Nah. I have the original targetmaster companion, so there is no need. I only bother getting the 2.0 universe versions when the original proves either too expensive or too rare.
Such a shame you aren't attending AA this year Gerard. Blurr's toy always did fascinate me, the design for it is rather unique and as good as a G1 toy can really get. As interesting as the targetmasters were its nice to see them get a little more love, brilliant as always mate.
@Skullgrin140 ... Thanks Sami. I would have loved to see the targetmasters and headmasters receive more character development in the re-birth. They should have kept it as a 5 parter as opposed to changing it to 3. Or better yet, they could have gone the whole hog and made the whole series. That could have introduced some amazing storylines etc. Sadly, they decided otherwise, and as a result, the re-birth became one of the biggest wasted opportunities in the transformers universe.
@bong264 ... Hell I only live in London and I will not be in attendance this year! Lol, but thankfully, there are always future events to get excited about.
Nice. To my understanding, Original Hotrod, Kup and Blurr Targetmasters are quite rare. I can understand why Blurr would be more sought after due to him not being reissued.
On another note, I have an original Blurr and it appears by looking at your version of the toy, that there is some color differences. The blues are more bright on the Targetmaster version. Almost a different shade. Where as the 86 figure are more subdued. Kind of greyish blue. Maybe it's just my figure.
@pathosis ... It is entirely possible that it may be my camera altering the overall colour of the toy on the final video. I must also apologise for my camera being an arsehole by not having the toy in focus that often throughout this video. I think the batteries were starting to go the way of all flesh.
@WolfKang1 I think your camera quality is very good, actually. Everything is nice and crisp. Colors look great too. What caught my eye mainly was the shield for the figure. It looks quite different then mine, in terms of color. I just now went on Tfwiki to see if they said anything in regards to this, because I was curious. Low and behold, turns out there is some color variances of the figure after all. Interesting. Check out the page, you'll see what I mean. See, it wasn't your camera :D
@TFKNOWLSY ... They are kinda cool even if the targetmaster companions are not that brilliant. BUt even so, they were and still are, an interesting addition to the G1 family.
I have it on good authority that AA is actually going to be shit, so don't feel so bad.........only joking it's going to be ace AHA HAHAHAHA....................or AM I? Who knows. Certainly not me no sirrebob.
Sadly for all we know they kept him on the background due to his VA asking to much money. But he could have been a very interesting character. I do like his vehicle mode, it makes me think of many other 'futuristic' designs from several other cartoons of that time.
@Eucep ... Yeh, I guess, the idea of vehicles in the future was all the rage back then. Look at some of the stuff they used to use in Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors!

Actually, the face sculpt reminds me a bit of the Master Controller from the original Tron film...

@WolfKang1 you convinced me in getting this figure, I have seen some on sale on ebay for fairly decent prices, I will get one eventually.

Very nice. He looks great as a targetmaster. Hopefully Takara will reissue this version at some point since they've already reissued Kup and Hot Rod.

@ncstatester ... That would be nice for those who have been unable to get hold of this figure for a decent price.

Blurr does remind me of a starwarsesque speeder.
