Well it is not that Bad on Live although in general terms it is still true there are some high levels i have seen and played that play really good online.

if you do the low sweep with the guard break and if you do get them when they are close to you, you can grab them in the air.

The funny thing is, this video is old as well. I don't really play like this any more either. I do in fact guard impact a lot more, and I do prefer A+G a lot of the time over 28B+G. If they don't tech, I use 1A+G_B+G, and if they do tech, I use the tech trap 2A+G_B+G.

Button mashin Mistu's are easy to beat because they can't string combos so they are left open after almost every other attack for a bull rush or knee

button mashers are easy to beat because only beginners and rookies are button mashers. I agree with you about the skilled Ivy because I got handled like 3 times in a row by a particular Ivy player and trust me I'm no slouch. Skilled Amy and a Ralph aren't a real threat to me (but I guess it depends on a variety of factors, not to mention the exact skill level of the opponent) and I use Rugi so yeah, but I can occasionally be thrown off. A skilled player is a threat no matter who they use though.

Mitsurugi is the shit. I just LOVE all of the hate towards Rugi (Rugi's cheap, Online Rugi is unfair, etc.). First off fighting against anyone with a lag handicaps you right off the bat, so try to ONLY fight opponenst with a 4-5 connection (for all of the online rugi nonsense), and second, if you can't beat a noob no matter who they pick (not just a noob Rugi), then u may be garbage. I'm guessing that spamming ass Maxi's, Amy's, and Raphael's are cool though? I'm a VERY skilled Rugi player btw.

Yeah, I hate fighting Siegfried. His moves and mixups are very deceptive. Once you learn his moveset, things aren't too bad.

That's where the mind games come in. WR A,A seems to get me some, especially if they cancel the second A and start it over.

The move that really gets me is kilik's move, i dont know the input, but he swings his staff full 360 and it can be followed by a charged guard break, a low, or another mid.. like astaroth's 1X

I have my problem with very good Siegfried players too. Especially, like you mentioned, when they use those mind games. But in general, since Siegfried, Cervantes and Kilik are used so often, i can read most of their moves already. Well and then there is the fucking samurai :D At the moment i hate him the most. I dunno why, but the last two days i sucked badly against mitsurigis. Even though they always do the same. I'm on my way to lvl 80 at the moment. Stuck before 75 right now.

Great Video Astaroth. I think we even fought once. You won :D (My xbox live id is Don Vito X) I see Astaroth so rarely when i play online. I don't know why, he's so much fun. I always try to get used to other characters, but it's never really the same fun. I have yet to improve my skill. If people begin to block really much, i still have some problems. Gotta train the throws more i guess^^

good players, but not great. all of the moves astaroth did was easy to block once you play with astaroth alot , especially when u charge every move.

against some1 who rarely fight astaroth its great but to some1 who fights good astaroth players its fatal.

Yeah, I mainly was trying to keep the pressure on him. The thing about fighting Siegfried with Astaroth is that long and mid-range become harder to fight.

If I see that the charged moves are working, then I continue doing them. However, I have fought people that GI every instance of a slow Astaroth attack. That's when I switch it up more to moves like 44B, 4B, 6K, and 3A (if applicable).
