Hard to believe that the TriStar is a museum piece: I live on the approach path to Dorval Airport in Montreal, Air Canada's home base, and for years the distinctive sound of those triple RB-211s was part of my daily soundtrack.
In 1977, I flew to Los Angeles and back in one of Air Canada's L-1011s- it was the quietest, smoothest, most comfortable airliner I've ever flown in.
Nice to know that this beautiful TriStar has found a good home, her dolphin nose & elegant profile still proud.

I love the L-1011 so much, that I would even fly from Germany to Kansas, to see and touch Elle once in my life :)

When I flew for TWA, I worked on the L-10 alot...it was one of my fav a/c to work on....
so glad to see this one at the museum...can't wait to see it when i come home to KC this summer!
