When we were kids my sister found a baby squirrel that fell from a nest and had a bum leg (I'd guess broken). It was really kinda sad. The squirrel would drag its back legs, and always had open wounds on its hind legs. Anyhow, she fed it for about 15 months then our uncle came over one day and taught be how to dress and cook squirrel. We never told her what happened to it, she to this day thinks it got better and ran away.
I still like/hunt squirrel. Sounds hokey, but they are good eating.
by the looks of the squirrel , it seemed to enjoyed the warmth and the companionship with the puppies, i think its adorable its too bad that we humans don't that lol
OK, I stand corrected. i have two pet rats and my cats seem ok. We also had a kitten show up at our house and our older female cat who never had kittens produced milk and nursed the kitten a few more weeks!
Didn't have the best of days (or week) and I went in search of things that make people feel good (usually animal vids). Thanks for bringing us this bit of tenderness...
I agree. It's truly amazing and just in general nice to see. We DO have much to learn as a species, war and power aren't as important as some seem to think. Great video.
I really appreciate your loving kindness for allowing all this to happen in the first place and sharing it here. Giselle is fantastic, so loving and compassionate. We have so much to learn from other species, such as how to love with no strings attached.
Babies! They're so cute at that age. LOL Blessings!!

My mom sent me these photos like a year ago. I wonder what happened when they all grew up. Like, did the dogs eat the squirrel, or not?
