  • Someone messed their lighting cue up! Regardless, this production looks great. Beautiful costumes. :)

  • OMG u put in the lost part of the jellicle ball!!!They should not have taken it out of the movie.

  • is that meghan Smith as Victoria????? :D

  • Amazing costumes :D that little black kitten next to Victoria is adorable!

  • pretty lights and costumes

  • In the beginning, mr.mistoffalees is having trouble picking up his dance partner. Lol. I love this!! Who were you?

  • @thunderheart5

I wasn't a dancer in this one. I was one of several off-stage singers who sang along to support that dancers' singing.

  • Was this high school or a club or something? Those costumes are some of the best I have seen. Move Bombalurina up to the front!!! That girl knows how to dance!

  • @SmartySmara The group is Curtain Call Players, a community theatre group in Toronto. There were people of all ages in the show. Everyone has to have a dance audition. Then, after the dance audition, they will then ask you to do a singing audition a few days after.

  • i love the costumes!!!!

  • These costumes were all done by hand by the cats playing Jemima and Jennyanydots. They were originally going to rent, but after seeing what was available, they thought they could do a lot better. You should see the costumes up close. They were amazing. They were careful reproductions of the original costume styles from the Bdwy produciton.

  • @Liat52 ya they look amazing!!! I could tell they weren't rented!!! Way to good to be rented!!!

  • Cats look like a certain way to draw large crowds to a theathre... And then some one asked if Cats is about to die^^ lol Johan.

  • i enjoy a lot of this choreography... who did this?

  • This is a community theatre company in Toronto, ON, Canada called Curtain Call Players. The choreographer is Jon alexander with some influence from the original choreography by Gillian Lynne. The show was only on for 2 weekends and drew large crowds for that theatre.

  • yeah people love cats. in my cast, we sold out every single performance!

  • Wow the costumes are amazing i hope ours are as good.

    the music is awesome too

  • wow this wos gr8 i lurvv the costumes n the music sounds like the original (video)

  • The music is actually licensed from the company that licenses the show. It's software called Symphonia where it's a digital orchestra, but the "conductor" (our musical director) has control over the tempo (he either sets the tempo or he can tap out the tempo manually to follow what's going on on stage). He can also delete or repeats sections of the score as desired. It's very complicated but simplifies the orchestra process.

  • Where was this?

  • The costumes you see in the video were all made by Megfly (see comment below) and her mother, both of whom were in the show as Jemima and Jennyanydots respectively.

  • Lol! Yes I am! I'm on there as Kitness.

  • Thank you! It was a lot of fun :)

  • Hi there! I'm replying 'cause I was in this production (as Jemima) and I also made the costumes :) I'm so glad you liked it! Yup, this is the same production that Catwoman posted about - I met her after the show, which was awesome :D

  • OMG!! Hey it's Jess!! I was with catwomanjellicle that same night!! I was SO excited to finally meet you in person!!

  • wooooooooooooo

    AWESOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

    BRAVOOO!! BRAVOo!!!

    how original!

    its was fantastic!

    congratulations!!!! xDDDD

  • I thought this was an awesome performance

  • Glad you thought so. The show already completed its run last night. A good time was had by all.

  • That's all I have, sadly. I'm backstage in the show (non-dancing) and I was only able to go into the audience to record those numbers during the dress rehearsal.

  • It's Curtain Call Player's production out in Toronto. We opened last night. The show goes on until Nov. 8th and it's almost sold out.

  • Who is that dancing with Victoria? Mungojerrie?

  • Good eye! Yes, that IS Mungojerrie dancing with Victoria.

  • That's interesting...never saw the two of them paired up before...why did your director do that?

  • Why not?

  • True...I have seen her paired with Misto, Plato, Admetus, and Tumblebrutus.
