great setlist!!!! slaves of pain was the new one by then, to the wall live version was sick!!!, plus some morbid vision tunes. Igor drumming was fast and solid, Sepultura is definitely on the elite of heavy metal music. For me the big 4 are Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Sepultura.

Thanks to whoever posted this video. this is one of the coolest videos I've discovered on the net. It is a truly forgotten era in Sepultura's history. The amazing thing is you can hear how good this would have sounded live. Even at this quality it still sounds great. Once again thanks for posting this video.Was very happy to find this.

This sounds good compared to some of the boots back in the eighties. Records were on their way out and tapes allowed for more frequent concert recording but the result was much more lo-fi.

When you have posers like Fred Durst with Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Korn, and all the rest of the Nu-Metal fags TRYING to play heavy music with a Rap and Hip-Hop influence, and strangely gaining a huge audience, then in turn, ACTUAL Heavy Metal gets stamped with a bad name. With respect to Igor, if he wanted to play music with his brother again in Cavalera Conspiracy, more power to him. Though, I think it was a stupid decision on a musical level. Even though Max and Igor formed Sepultura, Andreas was with no doubt, Sepultura's backbone. Max was a trend-seeker after he left Sepultura. He went with that Korn and Deftones Nu Metal style for a few years, then went back to REAL Metal. It was simple, Max just followed trends. He did whatever was most popular at the time

@FirePower3006 Yeah Ive listened to Soulfly, and their discography proves that Max was a trend seeker. 1st Soulfly album, had Fred Durst as a guest vocalist. 2nd and 3rd albums still had that Nu-Metal style, because Korn, Deftones and Limp Bizkit were still popular in the early 2000's. Then around 2004 when REAL METAL was gaining it's popularity again, he started doin more REAL METAL, but still not good. Andreas saved Sepultura from the moment he joined. I actually like Derrick G.

Soulfly did nothing but follow trends. They just did whatever was popular at the time. Andreas knew more about the potential of Sepultura, than Max and Igor ever did, and all Max ever does is talk shit about Andreas. Max was stupid for letting his wife Gloria manage Sepultura in the first place.

Cara,uma raridade sem duvida,eles tiveram aqui em Campina Grande,nessa época,porem,não sei se existe registo em video,mas também tinha uma galera vestida de morte e mumia,huahuahauh,eu era muito pivete na época,mas foi um marco historico para os bangers daqui da minha cidade,que repercute até hoje.

Eu fui nesse show! foi um evento histórico na cidade, pois foi a primeira vez que uma grande banda de Metal tocava lá, Muito calor dentro do Olimpico, tava mais de 45 graus, sepultura parou algumas vezes por causa do calor, eu também lembro dum cara que levou um caixão pra dentro do show, só não me perguntem pq kkkkk video muito foda! valeu Jarakillers!

I went to this concert, fucking historical event ! Temperature inside Olimpico Club was over 45 degrees, Sepultura had to stop the concert due to have some air and water, i remember also a guy brought a coffin to the concert! don't ask me why lol, outstanding video Jarakillers \w/
