  • So you use your hands to see the words and lesson the time each time and then normally read but with your hand?

  • I was going faster with my hand in a different way

  • 340 to 650 wpm. Understood most of the material. Pretty cool, but I definitely need practice.

  • @Pianoprone u think u need to practice.... i went from 180 to 249 -_-

  • @Pianoprone How is it going now? Are you seeing improvement?

  • From 300 to 530

  • It actually works!

  • read like 8 pages from a novel in like 10 minutes with each line averaging 14 words and 37 lines per page.

So 400ish words per minute. I can't believe I stopped doing this in Middle School.

  • YESSS NOW I DONT HAVE TO SPEND HOURS A DAY READING AND I CAN LIVE MY LIFE HAPPILY!!

  • from 200-320

  • Where is the comprehension and retention part??

  • I though it was very good, they want you to pay money for the class, I wish he would have explained the comprehension and retention exercises, but I guess that is how they get your money. Overall very helpful. I went from 140wpm with comprehension to 380wpm with minimal retention.

  • from 200 to 280

  • i improved a little, but i'm not sure it's applicable to reading for a longer period of time. Also, should I just practice this same drill?

  • I went from 260 to 290, but I noticed my comprehension wasn't as good the second time. Probably just because I don't understand economics as much as I do technology and the marketing thereof, but that was a problem nonetheless.

  • Uh I kinda went from 350 to 1200 XD but with maybe a 20% drop in comprehension. Id say thats pretty good.

  • i think this actually worked, hopefully it helps because i have to read 300 pages in 3 days... procrastination ftl

I was at 200wpm and now I am at 410wpm!!! COOL!

  • 240-370

  • 200- 330

  • So how to you increase your comprehension so you can actually understand what you're reading? I got from 224 - 419 but I don't understand anything when I'm reading that fast except the odd word :s

  • Incredibly awesome. I love this youtube vid on this Reading Improvement. Everyone really should try it out

It really does work. I double my reading score from 160wpm to 340wpm... Excellent!!!! I feel really confident to read my text book now.

  • 270 to 440

  • Dude... this is insane! I tested at the beginning of this 5-part course at 290wpm. Then we did the speed techniques, and when I tested at the end of the course, I improved to 420wpm! CRAZY AWESOME! I'm definitely going to keep practicing... sooo crazy cool. :)

  • i went from about 230 to about 450 :P hollycrap

  • Is there a link to download the article they read? That would help alot

  • I went to special education because of this, fucking ass hole!

  • 150 to 350. :-/

  • 250 - 410

  • 170 - 250 awesome sauce

  • @speedreadingclasses Hello there, may I ask where I could get the sample articles you used for this seminar? I'm having a hard time locating it in your website. Thanks a lot, sir/ma'am! :D

  • from 250 - 340!

Wow! Thanks! I'll be sure to continue practicing.

  • wow great stufff great professor!! their should be more people like this guy

  • 120 to -14 =(

  • @yodinks Yes, I always notice this at every series of videos, is fun how people aren't motivated to do something, as it's not as they imagined so they don't keep up. I think people who didn't watch the whole series thought that in the first video he or she will be learned to speedread in a minute. Hilarious.

  • 150-250

  • 210 to 480. I will get a lot of use out of this. I've had the worst time going back to school at 35 and soaking in the material. Great class.

  • from 175 to 289 :D

  • over 9.000 :D

  • My Speed improved, I'm not in USA, you should give more free video :)

  • 341 to 700...

  • 260 to 450 :D

  • @fkmzblt, thats for them to know and you to pay for, lol.

  • 260 to 400 ... cool!

  • I made a 6% improvement, from 12 line to 18, can't knock that, LOL

  • 310 -> 510. Sweet!

  • there has to be more to this class ...

  • yeah man studid dresding clases this was all i need it and they dint tell me about this in all thos 4 years

  • Started at 330 and ended with 320? whatdafook?

  • :O! Originally, 321 words per minute and now 926 words per minute! :D I need to keep practicing.

  • Do what? This was an monumental waste of time. Maybe the technique works, but to actually use video to show a stop watch is similar to the benefits one might achieve from a magic elixir: Nothing. Of course you can skip past it, but then you soon realize how the analogy is on point. The first lesson has a tiny bit of information, but any viewer should soon realize that the presentation is a sales pitch, with no guidance, I only wish I could dislike this a million times without given it hits.

  • @Katrina8007 Can you please send me the promo code for the $100 class in January 2011 in Chicago? Thanks!

    Satish

  • In my opinion it is as discuting as speed eating...

Sorry, but why should you want to read a book in 5 minues if it is your hobby?

  • @derKr4ut With all due respect, one of the most moronic opinions I've ever read.

  • @derKr4ut ur a fukn idiot and obviously never went to college or had to read a mass of material whilst flipping burgers, other people need to read alot fast and as such for these people there is speed reading

  • @derKr4ut If ur in college with a load of stuff to read then obviously you want to be able to read quickly. otherwise you get behind and catching up on reading for an exam isn't much fun. or my idea of a hobby. you can still read novels slowly and savour them.

  • i did 10,000wpm!!

  • Man, I didn't learn anything more from these 5 videos combined than from a couple pages of reading a google result

  • I'm impressed; I leaped from 290 to 450. The question however, is will it last?

  • @Andrew50461 Well thats up to you :) You just gotta keep practicing

  • @Andrew50461 if you keep practising it will last. not if u just do it once.

  • went from 210 to 400 with these videos. awesome

  • I'm at 420 and I still mentally vocalize, that's how I always have read… which makes me think that either vocalization is not as bad as they claim or I can vocalize unusally faster than average.

  • @Carutsu They say you can vocalize up to 600wpm.

  • me from 200 to 570 plus....thanks to this class...i have subscribed the moment i saw the first part....my superhero!!!

  • I went from 300 to 500. Not bad.

  • 250 to 420! Wow. That actually worked.

  • thank you!

  • 180 to 350!

  • dang i went to 200 to 280! thank you! XD

  • wow that amazing...I went from 170 to 250 the first time :)

  • Wait, so 'till know you had to read the same text over and over again but faster?

  • 240 to 460... sweeeeeeeeet. THANKYOU

  • whao! i read from 150 to 240!!

    thanks!

  • 240 to 490. Impressed.

  • @IbizaOwnersClub how long did it take?....did you keep practicing?

  • from 110 to 90 . I went a little down , but I will recuperate by going back to primary school again!

  • has anyone gone to the seminar? if you have, tell us what you thought.

  • Comment removed

Btw the material passed out during this course can be found at their website with /article1.pdf and /article2.pdf put after the main site url.

  • 240 to 390

  • I was reading exactly 180 words per minute before, after watching this video I improved it dramatically by 253%, now at 456 wpm. I noticed the comprehension isn't 100% of course, however I get the point about what I'm speed reading!

  • I went from 310 to 500, and I understood everything I was reading! Amazing, I'll have to practice this more!

  • 300 to 390, cool

  • OMG i got my speed from 150 to 240 words pr.min i feel so happy :D

    im from Denmark

  • @siarXD haha almost funny - I'm from Denmark as well, got my speed from 130 to 250 words pr.min :D

I can feel the happines spreading in my body xD that kind of sounded a bit weird :)

  • wow awsome, from 180 word's to 330 :D pwned

  • "Who wants to be a billionaire" - That's right! One Billion words per minute. Dig it...

  • from 220 to 430 :D

  • from 69 to 666.

  • @flowerdna That's a diabolically fast speed...

  • 170 to 310!!

  • From 2 to OVER NINE THOUSANDDDDD!!!

  • 240 to 470 .WOAH!!

  • 150 to 310. Amazing.

  • 230 to 530

  • from 642 to 974

    and by the way thanksssssssssssss

  • 90 to 320. Nice.

  • from 230 to 310.

  • Wow! Wow! He's a savior lol

  • i actually took a 4 week class on speed reading when i was 15 years old.

They call is skim reading when you're not taking in all the words from the page.

You skim over words like "IN" and "the" while taking in all the unique words. your brain can retain a lot more information when you do this. i usually only remember about 10-20 percent of what i read when reading at my normal speed. when i skim read its more like 35-50 percent this stuff makes reading more enjoyable too.

  • Wow kinda amazing! From 270 to 498!

I hope to get to attend one on their courses in san francisco soon!

  • from 210 to 360. wow:D

  • 322- 667 wow!!!!!!

  • from 250 to 430 incredibile :D

  • from 140 to 230

  • wow, dope lecture... first time around i read 130... second time i read 210.

  • I watched all 5 videos in just 36 seconds.

  • @siryknott27

    hahahahahaha

  • @siryknott27 how can you watch that so fast

  • @siryknott27 LOL It made me laugh so badly, it just hurts ^^

  • @siryknott27 thats speed watching..lol

  • this exercise made my eyes hurt. i went from 280-390. but i think my comprehension was worse the second time. all that swiveling of eyes to and fro, to and fro makes them hurt. don't they? but overall, pretty neat. my reading is so slow. i think i should do a reading exercise like this every day to increase my speed.

  • really neat! they do say we humans use a very small part of our brain power. after watching this, i truly believe that!!

  • i can "read" faster now, but i think my comprehension is still kinda bad...

  • From 210 to 400, Incredible in just 45 minutes

  • well sure its pretty easy to improve reading regular books, but what about medical books with more advanced texts and key points to remember, Do we still use the same technique of speed reading? and eventually with practise get faster and improve memory?

  • @Greev84 doubt it. He said it in the introduction, if you're doing something like that, it's going to take much more work

  • 190-280

  • i easilly read 400 wpm and more like 550ish when i concentrate

  • 240 to 330

Not what I wished for but I think it's not bad considering english is not my primary language.

  • 200 - 320 sick

  • a-m-a-z-i-n-g

    I went from 300 words to 400.

I even think I improved my comprehension!

  • From 160 to 259

  • 300 to 580

  • 46 to 51. Great program.

  • haha good job!

  • @DELPHIIII Lol

  • wow 230 to 330

  • 240- 380

  • wow, from 250 to 580...

Btw, does anyone know approximately, how much time of practice is necessary for 1000(or+) wpm, with comprehension?

  • 180 to 470 (reading on a PC).

  • WOW big improvement my comprehension didn't even fail on me!

  • Loved man thanks

More free vids plz need some more : )

  • wow.....i read from 180 to 400 plus. thanks to this guy, my hero
