@auscanacqi Wrong. You cannot commit genocide on nonexistent people. Antinatalism is not creating new people and not mass murder. Learn the difference. You apes (humans) have no purpose. You are random crap. All of your "justified reasons" for breeding are magical happyland fantasies.
@auscanacqi ''surely it is logical that you should kill yourself.''
A hundred times I wished to kill myself, but my love of life persisted. This ridiculous weakness is perhaps one of the most fatal of our faults. For what could be more stupid than to go on carrying a burden that we always long to lay down? To loathe and yet to cling to existence? In short to cherish the serpent that devours us, until it has eaten our hearts.

@auscanacqi ''Since you consider that life is a bad thing - so bad that it is immoral to have children - surely it is logical that you should kill yourself.''
People are not completely logical, rational animals, even antinatalists. Before people have children they should take this into consideration before procreating. There is also the issue of not wanting to cause suffering to others once attachments has been made eg parents, brothers, sisters, friends, husbands, wifes etc.
@graytaich0 How would you implement that? What happens after the various predators consume all the sterilized prey and run out of food? Do they starve and die an agonizing death? Maybe it would just be easier to kill everything outright, no?
@chucklecrew Predators stave to death perpetually in nature, so if the last sterilized generation *has* to starve, that's a rather high price for them to pay, but it's in their own best interests in the long run, and is much better than the alternative. I'm not sure if it would be 'easier' to kill everything, depending on the technology at hand, and your usage of the word... it'd definitely be more ethical to kill things instantly/painlessly, killing doesn't sit right with some people though.
@chucklecrew All that being said, I view these endgame scenario discussions as pretty much irrelevant at this stage, it's good to think about it I guess, sometimes... and it's good that people are giving it some real thought, but our capabilities will be so much greater, and we'll have many more minds on the task by that time, if it's ever accepted by the majority... and that's a pretty big if indeed... we should just stick with talking about the main premise and principles, for now, I think.
He can't seem to make a logical distinction between the notions of A LIFE WORTH LIVING (that is CONTINUING an already existent life) and A LIFE WORTH STARTING (that is, bringing a new life into existence for it's own sake). It's a common cognitive deficiency and blindspot many people appear to have that I have noticed in my months spent debating Antinatalism on Youtube and on philosophy forums. I see it as a form of mental illness.
Now lets get back to reality here, and the fact that AN is about not forcing more children into this twisted playground of pitfalls and pointy things. To possibly one day reach the conclusion that life, and its ills, isn't something a [rational and compassionate] person should be imposing on another, and/or to experience the hardest suffering this world has to offer for themselves. These risks are merely the tip of the iceberg, but still... it's enough for me, AN is what is is, and it does work.
Going off his suicide rhetoric, we know he believes the antinatalist's view is a terribly bleak and depressing view to hold, and should, in his mind, be enough to bring about suicide. So, his premeditated response to these (troubled) persons he percieves on the internet is: you should slit your wrists or hang yourself. Now, either he thinks he's calling someone's bluff to 'win' an argument (dangerous game), or he's serious and is actually telling a (depressed) person to go take their own life...
In his mind he percieves people terrified of life, so let us say, for the sake of argument, that his premise is correct and we're all just scared of life [i.e. suffering]. I mean lets face it, there's plenty out there to be afraid of, life does contain pretty much all the horrors you can imagine and then some (barring the supernatural and impossible), along with experiences that people couldn't conjur up in their worst nightmares, and all 100% real... the kind of stuff nightmares are made of.
@auscanacqi Also, life isn't a gift but a responsibility that was thrust upon all of us without our consent.

@auscanacqi Even then, there's the fear of pain and the unknown.

I think the question that needs to be asked is. What is the purpose for bringing a new life into the world?

@auscanacqi ''Dont talk about survival instinct.''
You don't think it's relevant to the debate? Please explain why.
