I was a little disappointed with the show. I wish they would have shown more of Diana instead of focusing on the poly curious girl. When they went to the poly meeting and she was talking to the older people I said to myself, "It's them I'm interested in!." Having someone on a show about polyamory that is not experienced with it was confusing to the viewers and left a really unclear message to people that don't know about the topic.

The term "slut" was created by jealous girls and women. And jealousy is a learned emotion. I think people should be intimate (emotionally and/or sexually) with as many people as they want to, as long as there is no secrecy and everyone is okay with it.

Jealousy objectifies people-- makes them objects to possess, because it gives one a false sense of security. In reality, people have free will and the one thing you CAN'T control is whether someone else loves you (which is why we try to rope them into contracts and hang onto them using guilt). We need to give one another the freedom to live and grow as is best for each person-- THAT'S love. If it's really love in the first place, they'll keep loving you even after they find 'someone else'.

I didn't mean it in the double-standard kind of way. I'm trying to say that, basically, all guys are sluts, who are regularly incapable of controlling themselves and keeping their minds focused on the ones they're bound to.

There are more non-promiscuous girls than guys, which is why I make the differentiation of labeling the promiscuous girls "sluts", and guys as simply "guys".
