  • All I can say is that you can tell there was no IC command set up no one really know what to do.

I could see a possible flash over right after the Woman EMT moved away behind the vehicle. She shouldn't have been there in the first place and not have worried about the dog.

They should have cut the garage door and or/ had both open/cut. Its common sence and Safety.

It was like watching a bunch of chickens running around with there heads off they could have lost come guys because of this.

  • I highly doubt budget or manpower had anything to do with the Chief Officer who knew there was a crew inside, the smoke indicating a possible flashover developing and he walked away while at least one other firefighter watched the door come all the way down before he reacted. I was a Chief Officer of a volunteer dept. 25 years ago and it wasn't all that different. You don't need a huge budget to train. I don't like criticizing other departments but I will criticize Chiefs and this was disgusting

  • Some Information for you all: This fire happened about 20-25 years ago. RIT Teams were not in place, nor was any type of Mutual Aid. Not everyone had SCBA's back then, and they were minimal. SCBA's were not required at that time. Budget also has a big play, as well as manpower. Firefighting was very different 20 years ago than what we have today. So before you blast fellow firefighters, know the facts. Anything else? Just ask.

  • At 1:22 you hear someone actually call for a couple of pike poles to put in the door, and the chief/IC yelling to the ems person to forget about the DOG. You hear her keep yelling everytime she's at the door "C'mon dog". Admirable, but not the brightest move. Also note 4 firefighters approacing with out any SCBA. It was at 1:30 no one is watching when the door starts to come down, 1:40 when someone firsts notices the door coming down but does nothing! The chief with the SCBA walked right by!!

  • definitely a cluster fucke

  • all i can say is training badly needed.

  • It's hard for me to comment on training since I know nothing about this Department or their training budget. I will say, however, that the first Chief who tried to get the crew out was right. But his quote "I can't get them out" indicates they have no evacuation system in place. Not a lot of training needed for that. Otherwise, my hat is off to them for giving it their best. Retired vol. chief

  • This is hard to watch knowing it could've been prevented..

  • haha dumb firemen

  • So hard to watch

You can just see it coming, and no one is doing anything about it

Not say this could not happen or has not happened to professional departments (Santa Ana FD did the same thing on a training fire) but this is a great example of why this is NOT A HOBBY

    Lucky no one was killed

  • a dog is in the garage!?!?!?

  • The gargjgi is not safe

  • are the saying bobby pees in there?

  • Is it myth or fact that animals will find their way out of a fire most times -- they have better instincts than human?

I have read about so many instances in which the family dog or cat escaped mostly unharmed or with minor injuries; while the owner, in a complete heartbroken panic, ran back inside to rescue their pets, thinking the fire wouldn't spread enough and they had time to get in and out ... they never made it back out alive.

  • I am a firefighter/paramedic in Orange County, CA. The lack of training and experence totally shows. We train everyday so this doesn't happen! All I can say is, "thank god nobody was injured badly"

  • Comment removed

  • its a crazy profession, gotta love it

  • one thing what they should have done was put a pole to keep the door open. what was the first aid ladie thinking who cares about some dog ur life isnt worth risking it and she dint follow the chiefs orders to get back

  • Lack of training, command & experience clearly shows!!

  • nice

  • what a joke.. just dam "LUCKY" that someone wasn't KILLED!!!

  • What a bunch of clowns. No way in hell were these guy's paid professionals.

  • must be the White House fire dept.

  • They're either the keystone cops or the three stooges of the fire service. What's with the guy who just stands there watching the right garage door drop and doesn't do anything until it's completely closed?

  • BAD get a grip you lot.

  • As the video shows this fire gets bad quick. Where is the R.I.T. team? I.C. should have had better control. Lots of mistakes, the important thing is that we all can take this and learn something from it. Maybe it will help change something in your house.

  • Where the hell is this?? This is the worst firefighting I have ever seen. First of all I like how the one officer takes his helmet off right near the garage that was a dumbass move. Next if people were trapped in there they should of got a crew together and got a rescue operation going. Third the dumbasses must of been using a fog stream instead of a straight one to steam his partner. I could name so many more mistakes. All I can say is this fire department is horrible and a disgrace.

  • I see a fireman in you.

    My dad was a captain.

All he wanted was all of his guys to go home after the fire was out.

Leadership is key to any multi-person achievement.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I am a firefighter for south williamsport, pennsylvania and this would of never happened in my station ever.. I was so disappointed in this.

  • I knew I saw it.

Hope everything is well with you.

    Thanks for posting.

  • He's standin' there shouting Bobby P's in there. Then why the hell is he outside?! I'm guessing that Bobby was number 2 in his crew?

Why did he leave him in there?

No matter what you never leave a man behind!

  • i seen the whole video of this at our fd, as the garage door is falling down there is another team of ff on the other end and they opend a handline and steamed the trapped FF, the skin was peeling off of his hands when they took his gloves off

  • WTF

  • After watching this video over and over again...I am amazed that this dept didnt have a LODD...

  • Don't work about the dog?

    ASSHOLES!

  • Is the dog even in the house??

  • Did I hear..'don't worry about the door'..yeah that's about right just let them burn to death..

  • No, there was a dog barking the garage. That's why the medic kept coming up. Someone told her, "Don't worry about the dog."

  • ok so how were there 6 guys at the door and only TWO tools?? this is basic academy stuff guys

  • this is called the blind leading the blind.

  • Wowowowowoknokknokknok wise guy huh

  • seriously? stand outside and call them like dogs??? good plan... WOW and then just watch the door shut... how does it not cross your mind to stop it from shutting?

  • com on dog

  • In short, where was EVERYTHING?

  • Where was FAST TEAM....where was the safty officer....and where was the commincation....

  • The IC should not allow this to happen. I am a BC, and one of the hardest thing I had to get over from being a Capt. was the " tunnle vision". The IC has to maintain control and be able to take the whole thing in. Stupidity is in both career and volunteer depts. Company commanders need to train thier people and keep a close eye on the new guys.

  • what a bunch of idiots

  • FYI I remember this one -- was not there but know guys who were and they swallowed their pride to show this video to all of Somerset County's new recruits -- about 10 years ago... We all Fck up now and then, but it's videos like this that teach our probies what not to do.

At least THESE guys didn't crawl into a fully involved structure in front of hundreds of witnesses just to run out scorched!

  • Wow, I watched this before and I still cant get over why someone would do this for free let alone not have the possible training. stay safe guys and gals.

  • ha i ask my self that everyday bro. LOL. why do i do this for free. But i have an answer now. I do it for every fallen brother/sister. I do it for the old lady that is trapped. from the scared 6 year old. I do it for them not for myself.

"I have no ambition in this world but one, and that is to be a fireman. Our proudest moment is to save lives."~Edward F. Croker

  • Classic. During emergencies we do not rise to the occasion, we sink to the level of our training. Train like your life depends on it, because it does (Los Angeles City FD motto). As far as the volly vs career comments - weak. A paycheck does not equal professionalism. Your words mark you for what you are - unprofessional regardless of who you work for. I am thankful this did not end in tragedy.

  • NO SCBA's? c'mon guys ..they should have done roof vents.. and set up attack teams.. unless that buliding was writen off..let it burn!

  • I like the guy watching the garage door go down.

Most G-doors have a pressure sensor to return them to the up position. He waits for it to close before trying to open it....sadly stupid.

  • Some commercial OH doors have pressure swithches, resi's have electronic eyes....I hope the dumb douche at 1:39 is now pushing carts at walmart....don't worry about the door....what a tool.

  • I know its a fuck up,just the one guy was cursing out smokey and he didn't really understand wtf was going on

  • Hey smokey and wesler...this was a major fuck up all the way around. better to learn from anyone's mistakes...volunteer or professional

  • Jesus Christ -_-

  • first thing wrong is where is the incedent comander. as for the dumb ass watching the door close he sshould be run out of town on a rail. now to all the paid firefighters that keep bashing the volanteers I have been one for 15 years and know that fires burn in the city just like in the country so get over yourselves I have seen many paid firefighters make stupid mistakes too.. Just look at this as a what not to do and thank God that no one was hurt......

  • Hey smokey197604, have you ever heard of "spell check"? Before you type out anymore responses to this video and make yourself look even more like a jackass, check your spelling before you click "Post Comment". As for you being a 15 year Volly, that doesn't mean shit in the fire service!! A full time firefighter probably runs more calls in one year than you have in 15 years. So no, us career firefighters will not get over ourselves!!! Sorry you didn't pass the background check or fire exam!!!

  • dude, shut the fuck up ok?

Yes,he had errors in his spelling, and yes some of it was a little graphic, but your making your self look like more of an ass because that was stupid watching the door close and not do anything about it.So think before you go running your fucking mouth. But smokey you really need to use the spell check dude.I bet douche bag is a fire fighter in Either New York or Chicago sense there always running there fucking mouths.stay with BCFD lads :)

  • just so you now asshole I work for ems full time and our vol dept runs over 3000 calls a year and we would be paid if our county was not too cheap to pay us. as for a real firefighter if they took away your pay check would you still help people or are you only in it for the money.... and by the way I have completed fire school 5 years ago and chose ems so piss off and as for my spelling who gives a shit...

  • Hey Bobby T! How do you feel about your fire chief walking right pass the garage door as it came down and locked you in there?? Or how about the dildo that yelled out to the firefighter standing in front of the garage door, "Don't worry about the garage door"!!! All three of those asshole's would either get there ass kicked or fired in a full time department!

  • As a career firefighter/paramedic I have to say that I have no use for volleys. Volleys might make up 72% of the fire service, but that does not mean that they are doing the job right. Firefighting is a career not a hobby. Most town use volley departments because they know that they can always depend on a few idiots to do the job for free trying to look like big shots to their neighbors. When if they were smart they could make it a full time job.Idiots.

  • I can't agree with you enough Lfdjake91. These Vollys give firefighters a bad name. I've seen people like these guys every where. Being a firefighter is more than putting a red light on the top of your car and putting on turnout gear. I bet after these guys were on this call and watch this house burn down, they went home/back to the station and bragged what great firemen they are and jacked off to Ladder 49. Your department needs more training and your fire chief needs to be bitch slapped!

  • So much for the brotherhood of firefighters huh, you guys are really jerks.

  • Brotherhood? LOL. You know what the Brotherhood is? It's when some Jake dies in LOD & everyone else puts on their Class A for the funeral & tells the media what a great job we all do & how 1 death is a loss to all of us, and that's suppose to make up for the other 365 days a year we stab each other in the back tryong to make LT. Please! I saw more brotherhood in the private ambulance companies.

  • You are in the wrong department then my friend. Or maybe its just us volleys that know what true brotherhood is.

  • the volley department that i was on was a huge fucked up department every one talked about everyone behind ppls back and im glad i dont have to put up with the bullshit i took for 4 years now im happy to say im a professional wildland firefighter and i dont have to worry bout if im gunna have someone who's got my back

  • Just look at these guys, a whole bunch of people walking around but not a lick of work getting done. They were more worried about getting the dog out then anything else & they almost got their own guys killed. IDIOTS!!

  • I see a lot of movement and a lot of yelling but no one fucking getting the job done. Typical "Volly's", running around like a bunch of jackass's.

What a bunch of hillbillies monkey fucking on scene with no air packs and no tools. How about the dildo fire Chief that walks right pass the garage as the door comes down. Some "brother" he is.

I think they would had been better off setting up some chairs with a case of Budweiser, NASCAR blaring over the radio and fucking there sisters in the ass!!

  • Ya you really think you know whats going on dont you? Hillbillies? You must be one to know one. Volly's? The back bone of the fire service! I'm sure you have never have something go wrong on a fire scene. That is if you are a firefighter!!

  • Yes I do know whats going on and so would anyone else who watches this video. Just a bunch of volunteer firefighters monkey fucking around on scene. Vollys the backbone of firefighting, ha!! You are a jackass if you think that. Your right, I am a hillbilly. So tell your whore sister to come over my house so I can fuck her in the ass and make her suck her own shit off my cock!!!

  • It don't seem like anyone else agrees with you. Volunteers are 72% of the fire service. So if you can do the math that leaves you with 28% that can be career. So you are in the minority "this means the small group". And as far as sending my sister or anyone over to your house I don't think that your mom and dad would like that in their basement.

  • Much respect to the volunteers who bust their ass for no pay, but come on, man: " DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE DOOR??? "

  • Four words: Secondary Means Of Egress

  • The white helmet watching the garage door slowly close. I know that this was a long tiem ago, but always remember - Risk a lot to save a lot, risk a little to save a little. There was no victim in that garage I'm guessing, not until the door closed.

  • This was a Dept (Not naming) that I know of. This fire was almost 30 years ago so things were different back then. You would have to understand the situations that were going on here at this fire. But every fire dept can work on things. It's easy to be a critic.

  • YES! ..gotta love the monday morning quarterbacks dont ya..

  • does this department own a k-12 saw

  • Ha that did cross my mind too. Plenty of white helmets standing around that could have been starting on a secondary means of egress..

  • i'm a volunteer, and i'm embarassed. ALL firefighters ought to be embarassed by this video. Most of the folks running around the frame without bottles looked to me like they were wearing white helmets (officers, to the unitiated). complacency, setting bad examples....negligence. I hope this department shapes up before someone gets killed.

  • i hate the way the rivalry is going between volunteer and career. It should be a joking matter not a "Oh you arent paid? You are not a real firefighter." Fire is fire, it doesnt skip over places that arent paid. A paid guy is likely to gain more experience at a faster rate but for the most part we are all the same with similar techniques and equipment. Except FDNY they are the best. The only real difference between us is a paycheck every two weeks.

  • this was a bad seen was they trying to save a dog?

  • No one is wearing a SCBA. No one has any tools. There is no backup line, and no RIT team evident. This is why we need to train more. The less calls you run, the more you need to train!!

  • all you guys talk bad about volly but 70 percent of all departments are volly and we all had to start some where. so look bad and think about what you did on your first volly fire.

  • old video is old

  • i love these videos because we use them in training over here to show all the wrong ways to do things

  • we lose 100 - odd guys a year. This is one of the bone headed reasons we do. Training and leadership my ass. All they needed to do was crack any issue of any fire trade magazine and they'd know to pack up when working around that smoke, have a committed RIT team, know the secondary entry or make one. These are the flatheads that not only die, but kill other brothers that have to go in and save them.

  • Man, that fire had a good head start. Look at the pressure and color of that smoke coming from the garage door. i was told by the guys on our department I was on that you always secure a door you go through. In this case, clamp it with a vise grips or put a pike pole in the track to keep it from dropping and trapping you.... just like it did here.

  • What I can't beleive its that right aroun 1:40, when the garage door starts to close, there are THREE people (ems in blue, ff in yellow, OFFICER in white) just standing there watching it happen!!! If i was one of the guys inside and saw this video, those three would have gotten a piece of my mind!!! I'll second your comment acklan3, well put!

  • Amen acklan3

  • CBS5090

Would you please keep you mouth shut and do not identify yourself as a Louisiana fire fighter.

I have been a Baton Rouge Fire fighter for more than 28 years and I can tell you all you will learn in rookie school is the name of the tools you will be using.

You real education will start when you hit the floor.

Also learn some respect. Volunteer or career mistakes go with our job. Learn from them and show some humility. It could be you in a similar situation in the near future.

    Engine 6

  • For the dipshit in Louisiana all I can say to you is you were in the wrong dept. Also just by reading your comment I cant tell you are a f'ing retard who has no clue. I too am from NJ and I give all FD's volly or paid credit we all do the same thing, some more than others.

  • One job we may be advancing the line the next we are doing searches and ventilating. We all adapt to our response areas and that makes depts better in our districts. Most cities are obviously heavily populated with commercial buildings, omd's etc. Obviously smaller depts or most volly depts dont encounter these runs all the time so with that i will agree.

  • I wouldnt say that chavyz32 im from a small volly dept. My guys are very well trained and have alot of experience. The only thing I will give you is in major depts or cities you have committed co's doing certain tasks ie a truck and they can perfect those tasks or assignments. My dept and many small "volly depts" have to cross train we dont have a truck or rescue co on our first alarm assignment. One job we may be advancing the line the next we are doing searches and ventilating

  • Well put crea900.I'm a career firefighter in a major city in New Jersey I give "volleys" respect for doing what they do.They never hesitate to help us out when we need mutual aid.People have to understand they don't have the "action" that us paid departments do ie.that's why they're volunteers.Yeah they might not the experience we have but we need em.We should'nt make fun of them even when it's easy to.

  • sounded like "dont worry about the dog?!"

  • What a weird video - the people outside are supposed to be firefighters? Looks more like Laurel and Hardy.

  • how many scbas do they own anyway? who has the garage door opener? questions, so many questions!

  • LOL anyone else hear "DONT WORRY ABOUT THE DOOR" lol wow!

  • Not funny... Three people in the US have agreed to die for you, and they don't even know you... Law enforcement, firefighters, and the American GI... Our prayers are with all of you... Thank you for posting this video... I hope that their Rapid intervention Crew was able to get them out...

  • why doesnt someone put some water on it...it looks like its getting in the attic.....watch the changes in the smoke.. then they trap their own guys......OMG... stupid volleys......

  • How do you know these are Vollys. I resent that statement. Vollys are trained just as much as Career Firefighter. Your opinion has no basis whatsoever

  • Slow down poncho. I am a vollie in Louisiana and also start the professional acadamy in 1 week and I am going to learn more in the first week at the acadamy than an entire year at the vollie department. (But your right, we dont know its vollie.)

  • It's very obvious they're volly. 1st, the blue coat is a "first aid squad" not paid, second, no paid firefighter will have a job very long going into an atmosphere with that much smoke NOT WEARING SCBA!!! third, seriously, how hard is it to break open an aluminum garage door?! Very lucky noone died in this cluster. But as the volly's around me say and i'm quoting "We're volunteers, we don't have the time to train. We give enough time running all the calls." Hats-off to real volly's that train!!!

  • You can take your volly BS and stick it. If it wasn't for the volunteer dept's the paid guys wouldn't have nobody to bitch about.

  • yeah being a future volly i really agree with your point nice point

  • @jwitynski What does that have to do with it???

I would expect my Fire Department to be well trained, whether they were Full-Time or Volunteer.... I used to Manage an Ambulance Service, and I expected EXACTLY the same of all EMT's whether they worked full time, or 1 shift a month......

  • At least volunteers know that a paycheck is not a required piece of equipment to fight fire. Unless you've been there and done that as a volunteer, then stfu.

  • I don't know where you work, but my engine makes almost 3000 runs a year but I guess you know it all. Where I live, we rely on the "stupid volleys" and I sure am glad they are there doing for free what I get paid very well to do. You need to shut your mouth, a real firefighter wouldn't talk bad about brothers, paid or not, puting their lives on the line.

  • Can anyone spell L.O.D.D.?

  • That was some of the worst firefighting I have ever seen. I don't even know where to begin!!!!??!

  • what the hell??? :/

  • There's something about a dog in the garage, too, I think...

  • At 1:39 the fearless leader advises "Don't worry about the door." Ignorant bastards! Almost killed two firefighters that are inside. Look at all the idots with no SCBA on. Definitely a bunch of bluelighter wannabees.

  • Fu*ck you....not all "blue lighter" wannabes act or operate in this way. Look at some postings of the way the way "the professionals" sometimes do things.

Also looks to be from about 10 or more years ago with the looks of the gear and vehicle.

  • just to be clear i wasn't making fun of these guys i was just saying how lucky they were to have not killed someone. also were im from one of the first things we would do is kill the power and all utilities. and if we were entering the garage door the thing would not even exist anymore it would be in a pile in front.

  • hey mate i agree with you... also there seamed to be alot of firefighters just standing around? every clip i see from over the water there is no urgency going on, on my station things are very different.

  • the remote door was triggered by the third set of tones going out over the PA. close call for sure but dont arm chair quarterback a fire if you have never done it. I've been a firefighter in houston texas for 9 years and this kinda shit happens. dont judge cause it might be your ass next time on the internet being made fun of.

  • Are you sure about that... and perhaps it wasn't the Springs and cables Failing from the heat. don't you guys have garage doors in houston. Cuz when they come down in the fashion it did, that is a failure not a garage door opener. Watch it move. a opener would be smooth, not stop and then come down fast

  • wow lucky you dipshits didnt kill some one

  • total cluster all right.

    No ventilation.

I see at least 4 people standing around at any on time.

  • OMG....that is all i can say. I think that one dude adjusted his hat for 5 min......

  • Okay. Let's go over the facts... working and SMOKY dwelling. NO VENTILATION. NO R.I.T. Team. 4 firefighters standing around with NO SCBAs. "First Aide Squad" lady WAY TOO close. And finally, some very, VERY LUCKY firefighters. This is why volunteers get bad-mouthed. TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING = SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY!!!

  • We are volunteers and we get training every week.

  • look how many idiots go walking through that black smoke with no BA its retarded

  • you hear one dickhead even say "dont worry about the door"

  • Listen again - He says "Don't worry about the dog" He is responding to the female on the scene in the blue jacket who has been calling for the dog.

  • Where were the three rings? I don't care if you are career or volunteer there should always be high level of professionalism. This is a primary reason why firefighters should have to recertify like EMS people have to do every two to three years.Thats right demonstrate your fire supresion skills.WOW what a concept!

  • Lets be totally honest here... Would half of us really concider to stabalize the door at the start of the incident?

  • brother, in both of the systems where I have run, Neither of those garage doors would have existed after that first handline made it inside. you do not ever block an exit from the fire building and from the looks of things that was about a minute of two (or less) from bieng another LODD

  • Yes I would abolutely would hold that door open, not just consider it. what you need are two vice grips, one on each side of the door. Why not just one set, incase on gets knocked off by some idiot.

  • Quickcall.....YES

  • They all bought their fd certificates from Wal-Mart!!

  • I seriously dont get it. Two people with a brush truck from my department could run circles around their entire crew!!

  • should have had a rit team ready to go and stabelized the garage door.

  • Rocky Point, Long Island, N.Y. (the woman's jacket identifies). Thats nuts how when the door is closing, a member just walks right by

  • I saw this video a couple years ago. This is only half of it. Yes, issues arise as the incident progresses, but the best learning experience is at the end which we can not see here. "Bobby" was inside putting water on the fire. You can see the conversion take place as you watch the smoke exit. Bobby then walks out of the garage like John Wayne, and he's as calm as can be. Im sure he's wondering what all the fuss about. It's classic! The motto: Stay calm and collected.

  • RIT wasn't a big thing till the end of the 90's.

  • This video is old to, looks to be form the 80s, safety wasnt as big of an issue back then as it is today

  • Very disturbing indeed.Alot of things went wrong and fortunately contrary to what one posting said on here noone died from the result of this. Would assume a shortage of manpower was an issue but didnt see anyone scotted up, other than the 2 guys that got out. Rit teams are nice if you have manpower in place ,but they may have gone in on a primary search? who knows? we were not there.

  • Let me stand there and make sure the door is actually closing before I think about possibly considering maybe doing something!

If I was one the guys inside that garage I would have been very violent when I got out.

  • WTF? Is right, No excuse for this at all, NO IC, NO RIT, NO Tools, No Ventilation,Not even full PPE,No nothing, other then a pure lack of ability to SAFELY run a fire scene. Overhead roll up doors have been known for this since they have been around, Force or Wedge them. I say another few minutes and this place would have flashed on them guys. In Serious need of some training before they kill someone

  • There is NO EXCUSE for the actions of the people in this video. They seem to lack even the basics of common sense, let alone training. This dept's chief needs to be removed for a number of reasons. Reason #1- some of our brothers almost DIED! Try explaining that one in court;"...but sir, I thought they were ok..."

  • these guys actually did die there were two firefighters on the inside of the garage door if u notice the one woman saw the door starting to shut and thought nothing of it can u believe just a pike pole would have saved them by proping the door to keep it open and if u listen u can hear them pounding and screaming to have someone get them out

  • THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DIE IN FIRES

  • WTF!!!

  • WTF are they doing standing around 2 hose lines and what. waiting for the dog or something.F the dog and then watching the door close and cutting off the water supplie to the hand line Jesus H Cris. RED necks. And who the chick in the 1st aid jacket doing. NOTHING to help any. O yeah did ye ever hear of SAWS you morons..................... And then the crew pops out or should say tryes to come out wirth the door shut on them. DUMM F#$&s

  • *blinks* Even if this was a controlled burn, why in the hell would you knock off a means of egress for the interior?! Besides where the hell was the saftey officer accounting for everyone in the hot zone? Jeeze.... Too much wrong with this one lol...

  • OH!

And where in the HELL is their tools?! I see no axes, haligan bars, NOTHING incase that happened!!! Ok, gotta stop before I rant all day... heh.

  • "I'll just stand here and watch the door go down slowly, after all what could go wrong?"

    Oh my God.

  • WTF? No excuse

  • That was very painful to watch.. I'm guessing this footage is old as the turn outs etc appear at least 10 years old. I've gotta find an excuse for this mess in my mind, other than the obvious.

  • They should have just poured gas on it and went home.

  • lol

  • That was the most embarassing thing I've ever seen. I just hope people don't think this is how it is everywhere. Nothing like not securing you means of egress.

  • All members of the public, firefighters, and emergency personnel-The `establishment` has failed to tell you of this.. Google paddyanddollydotnet and read FIREBURN MEDIA ALERT and tell all your friends

  • Stupid Volley's........................

  • i don't think the frequence was the problem, most likely it was a shortage in electrical switches or water caused shortage.

  • If the door would have been properly secured, this never would have happened...

  • This is just one more thing to keep in mind with our jobs. Hind sight is always 20/20 and I hope to God all our brothers got out alright. Just remember your training and learn from our shortcomings and hopefully this will not happen to anyone in our house!

  • did they have a k12 or something to make a cut on the door

  • The first thing that should have been done was proping the door or cutting it because you put your own men at risk and one guy walked right by it when it fell down.

  • hit me up wit any questions

  • cont: dark smoke came out because the backyard team pushed the fire onto the interior team, while they were pushin it out. so the den team backs out back through the garage, and before they get out the door shuts, what happened? did the springs snap b/c of the smoke and gases, actually no, if u listen close u can hear mutual aid tones, their frequency surprisingly set off the door to go down.

  • Where is it ?

  • WOW, if this company has a training officer then they need to watch this video and start doig their job b/c that coul dhave kills firefighters and the ones outside could have done nothing about it. Hope they all lived. Start thinking about whats going on before you walk into a house fire.

  • What had happen was there was a fire in the den i believe and there were 2 attack lines. the first line went through the garage, and second went arround the back. the team that when through the garage, found the fire and started knockin it down. then u see the dark smoke out of the garage, all of a sudden.
