Hey bud. I didn't use any tabs actually. I watched the acoustic version of this song that Max Bemis played for MTV to figure the chords out. It's just standard tuning.

Yeah I usually don't have to practice songs for very long to get them down but this one was really tough to play and sing at the same time at first.

I just kept playing the guitar part over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until I had it down without having to think about the strum pattern. You'll get it. Try reading while you're playing the guitar part. It'll teach your brain to multi-task...
