  • ha i always think of my football team when i hear this...I know its much different from what the song was meant for, but it gives you that same "band of brother" bonding experience.

  • this song brings back so many memorys, and i still love

new call of duty is just utter nonsence

we shall never forgot those men who didnt make it

    nor the ones that did

  • sad, i feel so old, and the soldiers feel older, respect and honor the soldiers of wwII

  • For that picture at 2:37. the freedom they got from the deaths in the next picture...it shows how worth it was to them to free them from opression

  • 0:30 pic is finnish or germany soldier in Finland!

  • I dont know but when I hear this song I would love that i was in WW2...

R.I.P all who died in that war...

  • @Antinerd1000 To experience it, not to die in it I hope. :P

  • Sounds like warhawk

  • 1:17 the best pictures of all times... everytime I see that picture it make me think about the cruel and stupid that men can be, just to get what they want.

  • This song always makes me wander what it had been like to be a soldier on the frontline of say omaha beach or a paratroopers its the best song ever this should be our countrys National Anthem

    And Christopher is the man!

Our soldiers should follow the stars, see Jesus! See the world!

  • EPIC!

  • In war, thousands die.

    there is war,

    because we are human.

But in war, there is no hate.

    Only differences.

  • during the war 8 out of every 10 Germans that got killed was killed on the Eastern Front by the Russians

  • @daddysboy456

are you retarted? the allies all busted their asses to claim this victory the USSR was "part" of the victory you cant just claim your own victory the other countries lost men to the war so they get credit too dont even think that USSR did all the work thats just rediculous and stupid.....

  • @orkai5555 USSR got alot of the credit because half of Russia's country was occupied by Germany and they fought back and won it back. They were the ones who won the war in Europe.

  • this song makes me regret playing all the killing video games because they didn't get to respawn or restart the mission it was over for them and they had no chance of getting back at the enemy thats why i feel guilty when i hear this song...God Bless The Allies!!!!!

  • @orkai5555 ur a fag

  • This is far from being the first time I listen to this song, but it still moves me to the verge of tears.

    R.I.P. Major Richard "Dick" Winters, Easy company, 506th P.I.R., 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. 21/01/1918 - 02/01/2011

    LEST WE FORGET

  • i want this to be played when i die...

  • @MegaFordtough it must be an honor to be bured with this song

  • @MegaFordtough : me too ...

  • @MegaFordtough lolol same yo, i think this every day hahah

  • @MegaFordtough I'm not bold or worthy enough of this song to be played at my funeral

  • I can't even begin to understand how can someone send thousands and millions to their death. Sometimes I'm just ashamed of being human.

  • @Snampired

"how can someone send thousands and millions to their death."

Long story short, imho, it is :

    1) because some dictators do it, after democratic countries failed to stop them,

    2) because said democratic countries must defend themselves and their allies when under attack.

  • also i love the formation flight :D

  • people who say usa finished war, they are dumbasses. USSR finished it.

  • @dadysboy456

USSR didn't freed Europe, last time I checked.

Neither did USSR defeated Germany all on it's own.

Victory over nazism is a freaking COLLECTIVE victory for the Allies !! No country can ever claim it as it's own personnal victory, dang it !

  • @Briselance Both of you are wrong, USSR won the war in Europe, and the US won the war on the pacific, obviusly a lot of countries were also in the war, but without those 2 countries, the english, the french and the polish etc, would'nt have won the war

  • that picture of the russian soldiers raising flag on the berlinner reichstag is in our history books :)

  • There are not such things as Good And Evil. A war is a conflict of Interests mainly of multinational companies. Forget all these songs that hymn the dead. A war cant be Epic. WAKE UP!

  • @gorkygd

"A war is a conflict of Interests mainly of multinational companies."

Yeah, sure. But not a single drop of liberty, independance, heh ? What about the 1776 war for USA ? What about war of 1870 for France and Germany ? What about both World Wars for european countries and for the entire world ?

"Forget all these songs that hymn the dead"

So you want us to forget about those who died at Bazeilles, Verdun, Dixmude, in the Dardanelles, in the Somme, in Dunkirk, in Guadalcanal, etc ?

  • @gorkygd

Your disrespect towards the dead is just disgusting. You write "Wake up !", but you should better have a rest and go to sleep. That might clear your ideas. I hope.

Forget those songs ? I think that, between the dead and you, you're most likely to go forgotten. But well, us civvies will all do that way, after all.

  • 0:32, nice, finnish soldiers too in this clip :)

  • :'(

  • *sniff*sniff*

  • all wars start with agression, and, sometimes, a few good men stand up to fight it. World War Two was the last great war, it was a war where good triumphed, where evil was crushed, and now, with the fall of the evil empire, we are better for it. Let there be 1000 years of peace in Europe ! my vids r good 2

  • At first I was like :D

But then i was like :|

  • most of us think that only the allies are true heros but the nazis also fought for their families, homes and country

  • “The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.”

    – William James

  • (stands) i salute you my fallen brothers, and am proud to stand in your place, or side by side with you. one day our country will be proud again

  • I honestly don't think he literally meant dogs in wars...

  • Best musical composition ever made.

  • does anyone know a different name for this song? i cant download it by this name >.<

  • War kills people, but I wish it was suicide

  • The more I think about the war and what passes for war now, the more I realise that the bravery wasn't in the volunteering - although that's not to discredit the one's that stepped forward.

No, these days you're career army because you want to be. Back then, you were a coward if you weren't. There were no protests, because it was something that needed to be done. I don't think we'll ever NEED to fight another war, and if we do, we're going to lose. Because we're too used to opting out.

  • This song feels like in the end of a war it honors those who died for there contry

  • this song feels like in the end of the war it honors those who fouth for there contry and died

  • Who wasnt betrayed in war, for example Finland was betrayed too, Soviet union had 1.5 million soldiers and Finland had 350 000 soldiers, but still we fought and remained our independence. Every country has to protect themselves and stop waiting for help. That happend to dutch and many other countries which where conquerd by Germany or Soviet Union.

  • Bravo- well done.. thanks for posting this

  • War is a way for humnas to deal with probalems. Power corrupts which also starts a war and just basically the human mind thinking it better than everyone else. We will never be able to change you just cant change a thought And pluse its just a natural instinct which will never change as well. Animals for instance are always at war and think of this they are less intuectuall than us and we cant evan resist the thought of violence. War is something we will have to get used to to ever live on

  • "fredekkk@Briselance

France are one pussys scared country look at ww2 they only know how to fight when they defeted"

And that comes from a Polish ... have you fared better than us, during WW2 ?

Oh no. You surely didn't. So what's the point with you saying "your country is pussy scared" ? Ever heard about Dunkirk, mate ? Ever heard about the French ground troops and naval artillery covering the reembarkment of mostly British troops ?

  • @Briselance

man learn history where was France when we need them they sit on chear so scarry to come but they write promise to come when we will be attacked so? they coward , France was fighting only with germans we was attacked from both sides , are u pround from u country mate who obligate to help us and when hitler attack they think"hm maybe he will not come to us" its a fuccking shame man

  • @fredekkk

Of course it's a fucking shame, but it has

nothing to do with our troops bravery.

It wasn't them who decided of our policy

    during the 30's.

  • @Briselance learn history man ,Poland was attacked from both sides and Franche and England puussys who obligate to help Poland when they will be attacked was sitting on chear wathing how ppl die and thinkink good maybe hitler dont attack us we so scared , and u proud from that fact? if they have honour and help hitler should loose in 39

  • @fredekkk

Once again, I'm not proud of the fact we let Poland down.

What I mean is that the policies of France and United Kingdom musn't be blamed on their soliders.

Many, if not all of our soldiers were eager to fight it out with the nazis.

But among our politicians, too many were scared of war.

It would be too long to discuss the reasons of that situation with only one comment. Would you mind to continue it in private ?

  • @Briselance

What self-respecting government - what body of people claiming to represent the interests of their people - would honestly SEEK war?

It's unfair to deride Chamberlain as he often is. He was looking out for this country and trying to avoid a war. America is too young a nation to have learned the value of peace.

  • @Machao6

What self-respecting and responsible government would try to avoid a war at all cost, even though they know war cannot be avoided ?

Surely Chamberlain was a intelligent man. But still, by trying this jive of economic appeasment, he made an error, which he himself recognized later.

Besides, between 1933 and 1939, the decision to be made by european democratic governments was whether to strike nazi Germany first or waiting for the first blow.

  • @Briselance

We chose the second option. We gave away Czechoslovakia to nazis without trying to defend it, foolishly thinking A.H. would stop after that.

We wanted to save peace at any cost, even at the cost of our honor.

What was the result of this pacifist policy of the 20's and 30's ? What was the result of constant diminution of military budget, in Western democracies, at that time ?

The only result was defeat and dishonor for Belgium, France, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Denmark and Norway.

  • @Briselance

I don't say war is beautiful. I just say that, sometimes, maybe more often that we are willing to admit, it's just "shoot and kill or be shot and killed", and not "shoot or don't shoot".

  • @Briselance One can understand why they did not defend Czechoslovakia. The Germans at the time had such a large and intimidating military; any single nation that simply stood up and said "no" would been the next on their list. You would need a reason to rally all nations to come in and help, and boy did Adolf do that. The entire world also reasoned that the Germans would stop; they didnt know that Hitler would be insane enough to pursue leadership over the whole world.

  • actually 1 england arent pussys! 2 we declared war on the krauts as soon as they set foot in poland! 3 you yanks didnt do a fucking thing either!!!!!! And we english fought back in the bob so you learn history man!!!

  • @ramsanta2 ok yes they did but didnt do much about it until it was to late when the Germans had a smaller force. And yes we basically sat back because we thought it wasnt a threat which was a great goverment at work.... somewhat at the time.

  • @ramsanta2

they deklare war and? scared to attack? if they attack with France ww2 should end same year that began

  • @fredekkk

Well shit, since the Americans stepped up in the nick of time - four years after the war started and the atrocities commenced - I guess the world still owes them a favour for it.

Fuck off, retard. You're confusing 'football' with war again. If the United States had a scrap of honour it wouldn't have sat out the Great War, it would have raised an eyebrow the minute Hitler was coming to power like everyone else did, and it wouldn't be wading around in the Middle East for nothing now.

  • Just because some people sue for peace instead of measuring their cocks against everyone else doesn't make them less honourable or cowardly. I sometimes think that life under Germany would not be so different from living with the US of A at the helm now, the whole world is in your shadow.

Now the UK follows it around like a gelded dog. I suppose we should be proud of that instead?

  • @Machao6

"Just because some people sue for peace instead of measuring their cocks against everyone else doesn't make them less honourable or cowardly."

Measuring their cocks against everyone ?

What is that silly cliche about the militaries ?

Besides, suing for peace doesn't make a coward, I agree with that without hesitation.

But suing for peace while you perfectly knows war is just a few years or months away, that makes you a perfect dishonored coward.

  • This music is just too good.

  • I love this music...<3 When at her sympathetic I want to cry...

  • Musica perfeita

  • @wwwdoug musica mais que perfeita

  • nice music perficed for this game

  • 0:32 picture taken from Finland woot!!

sorry i had to tell you that xD

  • May God rest those Souls of our troopers. there will never be another war like this one... this one was the great world war... i am proud to have my grandfather serve in this war...

  • We are people we all made mistakes, only Hitler made the biggest ofcourse. He thought he could qonquer da world :)...

He betrayd he's own Allies wich turned to the other side.

I live in The Netherlands and i still got ma grandparents who fought in the war against the germans. All i can say is, IF there is a another war then i surely will fight into it :)

And defend ma country against anything :O!

  • No, you wont. You'll sit at home watching it on the T.V.

  • Haha don't compare me to you mate.

  • Holland was betrayed be there own cabinet if holland would not be betrayed they could of hold of the germans for long enough so britian or france could attack right trough holland. they where good soldiers but betrayed

  • QUESTION: Why do we have war? ANSWER: Because we are human.

  • war is the natural state

  • @skidude777 because, inorder to have peace, we must fight for it.

  • @skidude777 real answer: Because it makes the real leaders of the world lots of money!!!

  • @overboardbriggs True dat. War is the only thing where losses are measured in blood and profit is measured in cash.

  • @overboardbriggs

What kind of a real answer is that ? And who are you so-called "real leaders", hmm ? Another world domination/hidden world government conspiration theory we have here, huh ?

Was WW1 declared because of money ? Like hell, it was !

Same question for WW2 ? Same answer. No proof of that crappy cliche "money so dominates all of the world and ideals are absolutely naught"

  • @skidude777 why do we have war. because we need war. all things we achieved to this day this time and age are thanks to war. war gives us strenght and wisdom and reminds us why were here.

  • @skidude777 war only answers for the needs of a few people in power, not for the whole country not even for humanity.

religion & money are the main reasons.

those are not human born concepts, those are programs installed in your bios.

  • @linderbrock I suggest you to read about "resource based economy"

  • @skidude777 That is the truth skidude! We are th virus of the World and not AIDS or much more, We only WE destroy the World!

  • @MateDarkEagle t'is sadly true...sadly true...

  • @skidude777 and we have war kuz the humans are the biggest animals i hate wars and fights

  • i met him he is cool.

    i met him today

  • Awesome I love this song in the Simpson parody

  • I still fail to see how people can justify the murder of thousands of people during times of war. If it's so wrong now, why is it any better during war? Great song.

  • Because we're killing bad guys in war. Killing innocent people is bad. Killing bad guys isn't.

  • Unfortunately, not all battles have a good side, and a bad side. Just two forces with opposing ideas.

  • Nazis are bad fuckers

  • (to needfame458)

Why is it better during a war ?

Because in a war, it's as simple as "kill or be killed" : If you don't kill the enemy, (s)he'll kill you without hesitation.

  • "to McBobthestickfigure"

You really need to stop playing video games. The world is not divided into good guys and bad guys! The "bad guys" are human to.

  • Yes, I must agree, I do play too many videogames. But people who kill innocent people? Doesn't that make them bad? Innocent people are people, too.

  • wow, i love the music from this game, it fits so well with the WW2 theme. If anyone really liked this vid, please check out my WW2 video, it is very emotional like this one, great job!

  • Comment removed

  • FUCKING A man FUCKING A

  • @McBobthestickfigure my grandpa was in the army he told me about the wars and were it stands for. he also said that he had to go not becaus he wanted it for money or the experience. he did it becaus it had to be done

  • @McBobthestickfigure Eh that was only a fraction, its not exactly like you can just stick around at home when drafted... Though I do agree that many of those who fought believed in their cause :P

  • @McBobthestickfigure bravery? Ask them now if its worth it to die for some dictator, or for a f***g country. DO you think they "volunteered" to fight at war? omg ..

  • @gorkygd

Didn't mean to make you mad.

American veterans seem to think its worth dying for.

  • @McBobthestickfigure im not mad.

americans are stupid. You can see their average IQ judging by their "culture".

  • @McBobthestickfigure I wondered where the patriots had gone from my own country - it makes me happy beyond measure that there are more beyond my own borders, supporting their soldiers.

  • @McBobthestickfigure I have to disagree, They had no choice. They couldn't just have said "Nah, I don't feel like going." If you weren't on Death's Door, off to war you went.

I still think all of them are heros

  • @McBobthestickfigure "They could've stayed home, raised their families, and lived a normal life". If you actually bother to read history, which you and 26 others probably don't, you'll learn that there was this thing called a d-r-a-f-t. Therefore, NO. wrong. please try again.

  • @DwydAshquin True I made a mistake, they where drafted they didnt go because they wanted to, but that doesnt mean we appreciate them any less.

  • @McBobthestickfigure do you think they where asked if they wanted to join the war?

no comment for the 27 likes...

  • @gorkygd True I made a mistake, they where drafted they didnt go because they wanted to, but that doesnt mean we appreciate them any less.

  • U.S.A citizents are blinded from the truth of what jewish do with arabs they have taken palestine with no right my grandarent was killed of my 2 years old father back then and for what because he didnt want to pay an extra dollar for his fucking beer! Hitler said "i kept some of the jewish alive to show you why i used to kill them" evidence: what happened in Gaza! who did the fought kids, womens? and then they say arabs are terrorists! a 5 years old with no eyes or mother thanks to a bom is a ter

  • True

  • This song is great. I feel it like memory of all fallen soldiers in WWII and especially heroes which fought in greatest battles, such us Normandy.

As general Bradley said: "Every man who stepped on the Normandy beaches was the hero."

He was true. R.I.P guys, thank you for our freedom

  • Thats truth man i hope someday i could sacrifice myself for my country i didnt have much to live for anyway but when i die itll be with 20 of the cocksucking scum i take with me R.I.P. heroes of war

  • Only a select few songs make me cry

    This is one of them

  • 2:43 I've visited that cemetary

  • (to GiTs3hT)

Where is that cemetery ? Judging by the crosses' appearance, the soldiers buried there are German soldiers. Am I right ?

  • awsome video thx for upload are the best!!!!

    5/5

  • A war cannot be won. Everybody looses something, families gets spit, and innecent people gets killed. There is nothing good about war.

  • (to skidude777)

Except when you fight because your country or your allies' country has been invaded.

As the saying goes "if you want peace, prepare for war".

  • nonsense. a period of prosperity followed both world wars. wars with purpose keep the world's economy running.

  • (to ra7n7d63)

A period of prosperity followed both World Wars ?

    For WW2, that's ok. But for WW1, I wouldn't say that. Hasn't a big crisis occured in 1929 ?

(I can't remember the date which is now remembered as the day when the crisis officially started, but it's called "Black Thursday".)

  • he's right, actually ... gotta have something before it can get into a crisis eh

  • history goes beyond this century

  • Black thusday because all of the lights suddenly were turned off by the mysterious 'phantom of the opera!!'

  • (to lusomanada)

    lol. ;-)

  • This makes me wonder why must we-as humans-waste so many lives in petty fighting? Just so we can have bragging rights? Or over some useless junk like "My country is better then yours".

  • (to Bricktopher)

petty fighting ?! 0_o Would you dare to say that WW1 and WW2 were petty fightings ?!

Therefore, millions of men and women would have died ... for naught ?! Fighting the nazis was no petty fight.

Thinking that is, in my mind, utterly insulting to the memory of the fallen. ( no aggressivity intended )

  • well WW1 was caused by a guy getting assassinated

  • Hardly. The main reason the war became a World war was that the European superpowers were divided into two main alliances, the Central powers (Germany/Austria-Hungary/Ottoman Empire/Bulgary) and the Triple Entente (UK/France/Russia). When Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia (due to the assassination of Franz-Ferdinand), Russia came to their aid and shit hit the fan.

  • No single country won the second world war. The Allies had to work together to win the war.

  • first off russia did lose all those people but if it wernt for u.s.a they would have lossed becuase thay had the russians and the americans to worry about

  • what did you type in to find the pic at 1.48

  • Such a beautiful piece. I think it's awesome how Lennertz and other composers like Jeremy Soule have created such fantastic music for video games. It shows that it too can be a well-rounded genre comprising both art and entertainment.

  • And great song btw...very emotional..

  • Medal of Honor has one of the best game soundtracks (look European Assault) Best game--> best War soundtracks and best Componist ;)
