Sweden alread had a referendum...it was about joining the EU in 1994 and most Swedes voted Yes. Referendums in Sweden though are NOT binding, they are only consultative. Would you still want to drive on the left side of the road? Sweden voted NO on switching to right lane traffic, but the Riksdag drove over that decision ten years later and decided to switch anyway. How many Swedes cry themselves to sleep about that?

The Swedish constitution isnt going to be abolished at all. That's a complete and utter lie. When choosing between Lisbon and the current treaty (which is the treaty that you're advocating for) makes for an easy choice: Lisbon is more open, democratic and superior in every way. "Destroying" the boarders? How many Swedes hate the fact that they don't need to pay toll taxes and can import products and travel anywhere in Europe without visas? This is why Swedes in majority like the European Union.

the schwedish constitution will not be destroyed . it will be overriden. all power to the eu. your own constitution is then worthless.

The EU is not a federalist state. Just because some issues are decided upon at a European level doesn't mean that it overrides constitutions. The EU is no different from any other type of international treaties.
