if i was in charge,i would open up a new bridge next to it just to add more lanes(newer/wider bridge) and loubug's mom will call the new bridge harry Heaven bridge

It really is a neat bridge but scary as hell! My mom calls it the Harry Hell Bridge!

This is scary and with that 18 wheeler coming at you - I felt anxiety was glad when you made it to the next side. Road is NOT smooth either...not until the end which was much better in MD...

I grew up going to Colonial Beach and Westmoreland County to my Grand mother's for vacation every year as a kid in the 70s and I was scared to death of this bridge.You're absolutely right there is not much room for error on this bridge.

You can see the "Bridge Troll" @ 2:22 on the left... speed trap all the time. Bridge needs to be replaced...as the lanes are a foot shorter on each lane then what you find on modern bridges.
