@geordys1 or they could work out and take care of themselves like i did my freshman year when i lost 40lbs. and got in awesome shape. heavyweights dont need to be heavyweights unless they are that big because of genetics and outstanding work ethic. these guys are heavyweights cuz they dont work themselves the way they should.

@geordys1 I didn't say every heavyweight wasn't an athlete. I just feel it's unfortunate that EVERY kid that wants to wrestle, can wrestle. I think there needs to be a certain point where a coach draws the line. If a kid just wants to wrestle to be able to put that on a college application, and half ass a wrestling season then screw that. If a kid wants to wrestle because he loves the sport, and he plans to put his heart and soul into it and actually WRESTLE then good for him.

Busted my ass for hours to stay in shape like any good wrestler and was praised for my work ethic... congrats on losing your 40lbs but on a 6'4 265lb frame I didn't have much to lose.
