yes but on games like TDU for example, the game recognizes if the car you are driving as for example a Gallardo, uses paddle shifting, and a car like the Mercedez AMG SL, uses sequntial, with G25 its just more real in that sense since automatically switched the shifting mode to either paddle or sequential depending on what car you drive, real simulator

well no actually, i have a g25 but its a pile of shit compared to my ecci trackstar 6000gts. more expensive than a g25 and g27 put together but worth every penny!

G27 has better mechanics and new/cool features like the lights for speed change but im not sure if either of NFS Shift/ GT5P support them

...but... G25 has both ladder and sequential change on the stick and if you can find it in a its new reduced price it is a much better deal IMO.

I've been using my g27 for 2 weeks now and I have noticed something with my shifter.

Perhaps it's a setting or an update, but the problem I'm having is this:

When in clutch mode, Lets say im at the top of first gear and I decide to redline the gas and drop it into 2nd, IT will not go into 2nd. IT goes into neutral.

THe only way I can smoothly shift up is by letting the Revs drop below 4k and shift up.

I Haven't put a beating on this wheel kit, so what am I doing wrong?

No i don't have a G25. This is similar but adds a few tweaks and takes away the sequential shifter.

Fanatec wheel uses BELT DRIVE so you get life like forcefeedback and g25 and g27 forcefeedback feels more like mechanic feel. also fanatec wheel is 100 bucks cheaper.
