Nintendo has a large variety of first party and second party characters that are well known and have tons of options, while playstation has barely anything that wouldn't look strange in SSB type fighter, too bad they didn't try to rip off SSB back when they had crash, spyro, ape escape, and (ironically) metal gear solid. It would have been so awesome to see spyro burn crash, a monkey, and snake to the bone :)

@Triphoria Companies take ideas from each all the time. You could make the argument that the xbox controler is a variation of the ps3 controler. I know that seems pretty dumb to say because it would seem like thats the only way to create a controler to fit the stlye of gameplay.
