  • he had 27 seconds to get upstairs

  • Lance Burton, Rick Thomas, of course Copperfield. These are the classics, and the greats

  • either he has a stunt double or this mofo can levitate

  • Anyone seen the movie the prestige?

  • @jonesyop

OMg that's exactly what I thought of when he re-appeared!!

  • @jonesyop Burton was inspiration behind that character

  • Well ok, now THAT is impressive. I understood how he escaped the booth (kinda) but getting to the chandelier that quickly. Damn. Hats of to you Burton! :D

  • Well, just guessing. For me there's a double of him for sure. I think he slides into a chamber underneath her, and his double is actually on top of that chandelier.

  • i could get into her.

  • can someone please tell me how this act is performed? PM me please.

  • @SaihaNadare Where's the fun in knowing? - Take it from me, knowing sucks lol. But unfortunately, my job requires that I do know these things :P

  • there cant be 2 lance burtons... canthere?

  • What music is that? because that is the PERFECT porno music!

  • Lance you rock!!!!! my favorite magician! :D

  • I just have to wonder... how does he get up to the chandelier so damned fast? Even if there was a staircase in the middle of the theater and he ran up in plain view, he wouldn't make it.

    Wow.

  • It's a really good, showboat of an illusion. There are questions that never get answered, though. Why is there a ladder attached to the outside of the bit of wall that never moves? What the hell is that pole for? Why does he dress like Simon Cowell?

I bet he wishes he could redo 1:37 again.

  • I saw that ripple in the cloth. You think he somehow jumped out the back?

  • @mrchopper LMAO why does he dress like simon cowell HAHAHAHAAA

  • There are all these theories being thrown around about pivot mirrors and Lance hiding behind a 5 inch curtain, but I just don't see how that's possible with the set up of the box and the size of a person???

I think a more plausible theory would be the age-old trap door that Penn and Teller over use. You can see around 1:15 that the woman in the box does this odd forward motion, almost like she's trying to open or step in front of a trap door, but her cloke stays attacked to the pole? Odd.

  • lets see criss angel do that.

  • he will just use camera tricks or pause and play lol

  • @blueberrypuff33

HE CAN DO THAT (with camera tricks)

    LOL

  • Brilliant.

  • is increcible

  • he had 25 seconds to get from under that girls cape, to the chandelier. amazing

  • Whats annoying is that by the laws of magic and illusion, this is impossible! Unless he has a look alike, which I don't think he does, because his look alike would have to talk like him.

  • nope remember the only limitation is yourself and your imagination

  • great illusion

who knows what is the music?

  • So simple, all you need is 50 grand !

  • u have no idea how he does this stop trying to act like you do

  • Good call,i agree with your comment 100 percent !.

    Regards

    Jim

  • lance burton is soooo much better live. i went to vegas a couple years ago and it was one of the coolest places ive ever been. expecially the magic!

  • a stripper pole! lol

  • you know lance is one of the best magicians. but you have to agree. close-up magic is 100 times better than stage.

  • Penn and Teller agree with you, as do I.

  • But sitting through 2 hours of close up magic isn't exactly fun

  • Yes this one is much, much better than Hans Klok's half-assed version.

  • jcondkc no spoilers means just that.Dont reveal secrets on my videos.

  • sorry - didn't see the warning... but I *was* right, right? ;-)

  • Well regardless why would you want to post secrets to someone elses lifetime work?

  • @MavisRileyJunior cuz he thinks he's as "cool" as lance burton for knowing how it's done...

  • loved it

  • theres no volunteer?

  • theres no volunteer?

  • what do you mean

  • hahaha now thats a budget.

  • I went to his performance a few days ago, and I sat in the first row. I still could not figure out how he did some of the stuff that he did. He did a similar trick, but they acted like they were hanging him from a noose, and he suddendly appeared from the chandalier. Amazing illusionist.

  • He's awesome, every trick is done greatly. He could improve his showmanship, but that's it. Love his acts.

  • does anyone know where you get music like this?

  • Theres no change its the shity camera

  • An amazing magician and entertainer and the best thing is that he is even more impressive in his live show. I am one of many who took up magic after being inspired by his wizardry plus he is a true gentleman.

  • argh, 1:30 - 1:31 there's an obvious change in the shot, at first I thought it was an intentional lighting change, but it's not :(

  • dude, just go to a magic show for gods sake, dont sit there and come up with "theories" through "youtube"

  • Yeah his followspot goes off.

  • Lance Burton you are absolutely AMAZING!

You have skills like no other magician, real magical skill! (Not just magic illusions) you have it all!

  • Lance did a very nice job with this.

  • Strippers and magic, a fantastic combination.

  • absolutely awesome!!!

  • Lance Burton and David Copperfield do the same things....It doesnt really matter, they both share secrets, I heard...

  • Lance Burton is one of the best magicians in Vegas. Classic magic is his forte. Copperfield may be the King of the no expense spared extravaganza, but the real magic is performed by Lance. He IS the BEST.

  • and he is FUNNY (in a charming way, not the occasionally-self-deprecating way of Copperfield). But they're both good showmen.

  • muy bueno

  • wow

  • He used the machine from the prestige.

  • AHH THE GENIUS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME... you're marvelous lance... just marvelous...

  • damn! cool trick:) please check out my magic vidoes

  • nice illusion.

Lance comes still on the chandalier after some illusion with, his car thats disaperes on stage

  • On the chandalier!
