It's a really good, showboat of an illusion. There are questions that never get answered, though. Why is there a ladder attached to the outside of the bit of wall that never moves? What the hell is that pole for? Why does he dress like Simon Cowell?

I bet he wishes he could redo 1:37 again.

There are all these theories being thrown around about pivot mirrors and Lance hiding behind a 5 inch curtain, but I just don't see how that's possible with the set up of the box and the size of a person???

I think a more plausible theory would be the age-old trap door that Penn and Teller over use. You can see around 1:15 that the woman in the box does this odd forward motion, almost like she's trying to open or step in front of a trap door, but her cloke stays attacked to the pole? Odd.

I went to his performance a few days ago, and I sat in the first row. I still could not figure out how he did some of the stuff that he did. He did a similar trick, but they acted like they were hanging him from a noose, and he suddendly appeared from the chandalier. Amazing illusionist.

Lance Burton is one of the best magicians in Vegas. Classic magic is his forte. Copperfield may be the King of the no expense spared extravaganza, but the real magic is performed by Lance. He IS the BEST.
