Out of the two, MW3 is by far the more finished product. It's thought provoking campaign blows the piece of shit DICE put in their placebo. BF3's multiplayer is a joke, it lacks the balance and encouraged teamwork of MW3. Maybe DICE should learn to develop a game sober because they had to be high to release BF3 as it is.

Well if they're going for realism as far as the campaign goes, shootouts occur from a distance in real life. So I'd say that it depends on what you're going for as far as what you want in your game.
This review sounds pretty fair. I've played both MW3 and BF3's campaigns and BF3's is nowhere near the level of MW3. It was actually very dissapointing.
However, multiplayer is a different matter and XPlay made that clear.

why bf3 is awesome. dedicated servers, balanced guns and gameplay (64 players with vehicles plays surprisingly well for all the chaos going on), no killstreaks. amazing graphics and sound engineering. innovation is off the charts, it takes skill to play and does't support camping it supports teamwork, huge maps that all look and feel unique, bright coloring, good community (have an annoying player? switch squads), good spawns except a few levels on tdm. realistic, hardly any lag, fun as hell!!!

More linear maps, very linear campaign, K/D ratio... None of those were in BFBC2, which is better IMO. EA obviously told DICE to make it more CoD'ier.
I think this game was a little bit disapointing, The online servers are really bad, Its rediculous trying to play with friends they either put you on different teams or completly different matches, i and others constantly get that failed to join server error, the campign wasn't bad the graphics are good, no guillie suits with snipers is stupid, just was really disapointed.
I'm sick of people talking how realism makes this game better. Re-spawning, anyone being able to operate any vehicle without training, and getting shot in the limbs but not dropping your gun or falling over isn't realistic. Its a solid title, but just because it looks better doesn't make it realistic.
I also hate waiting for vehicles to spawn. not many people have headsets and you can only talk to two or three people in your squad. Otherwise it's genius.

If you ask me nobody's looking at the campaign to much. I didn't think it was too fun I got one shotted out of nowhere, I got bored of constant death even on normal mode you can die rather easily just by a few shots. The game itself is fun, multiplayer is a blast, the campaign is great, better than I have seen out of most games. I wouldn't recommend the campaign to anyone unless you want those easy to get achievements.

Pistols can be used as sniper rifles.
I saw one mother fuck using a pistol with a fucking sniper sight on it WTF!
People are like its amazing and you cannot deny it but it is honestly shit.

My favorite franchise this gen is Mass Effect, and I play everything from Battlefield, Mario, Zelda, Bioshock, and Assassins Creed to God of War, Uncharted, Halo, and Gears. HOWEVER, I love Call of Duty too. I'm 27, have a job, and 60 bucks + Elite is NOTHING I lose sleep over.

why bf3 is awesome. dedicated servers, balanced guns and gameplay (64 players with vehicles plays surprisingly well for all the chaos going on), no killstreaks. amazing graphics and sound engineering. innovation is off the charts, it takes skill to play and does't support camping it supports teamwork, huge maps that all look and feel unique, bright coloring, good community (have an annoying player? switch squads), good spawns except a few levels on tdm. realistic, hardly any lag, fun as hell!!!

why mw3 sucks. matchmaking lobbies (hosts), unbalanced guns/perks. killstreaks. o.p and u.p killstreaks and guns. bad graphics and sound engineering, no innovation. camper and noob friendly. small maps, bad coloring, map designs the same. cod community (shit talkers and lil kids screaming) horrible spawns. unrealistic, and lags like crazy. mw3 is just a broken game period!

Let me tell you, you, you and you too k whoever is saying the Battlefield 3 is better than Call of duty MW3 is full of crap. I've been waiting for Battlefield 3 a long time, I had to fight for it at Wallmart on Black Friday and guess what i come home, I put it in my ps3 and play it for 30 min and realize that it blows. So I bought COD MW3 Loved story mode and I kick butt online every day. Call of Duty 3 Modern Warfare 3 is way better than Battlefield 3. thank you. Im out

I've played EVERY COD Game, From Cod 1, To MW3, I've played Battlefield 1 and 3, i can honestly say i think the Battlefield franchise is overall, Just Better, Cod 2,4,and Mw2 were,in my opinion, the only good cod games, where as i loved Battlefield 1 and 3.

I got this and Modern Warfare 2 yesterday.. Sadly i don't use Windows Vista so i'm having to install Vista just to play this bloody game LOL.
Other than that both games work on my computer on max settings so can't wait xD Not really a fanboy of either but i do have them, i just don't play them religiously lol.

People who are saying BF3 and CoD are in no way the same are completely stupid. Obviously, BF3 took a lot of CoD elements to make it appeal to new players. More linear maps, very linear campaign, K/D ratio... None of those were in BFBC2, which is better IMO. EA obviously told DICE to make it more CoD'ier.

I think this game was a little bit disapointing, The online servers are really bad, Its rediculous trying to play with friends they either put you on different teams or completly different matches, i and others constantly get that failed to join server error, the campign wasn't bad the graphics are good, no guillie suits with snipers is stupid, just was really disapointed.

I'm sick of people talking how realism makes this game better. Re-spawning, anyone being able to operate any vehicle without training, and getting shot in the limbs but not dropping your gun or falling over isn't realistic. Its a solid title, but just because it looks better doesn't make it realistic.

I give BF3 a 4/10. And no, I'm not giving it to MW3. Both games suck. MW3 pisses me off, BF3 just looks boring. Did anyone else notice the gay death animation? And also, what the fuck?! They're just going to steal the interrogation plot, right from Black Ops? How fucking original. They did everything possible to make the graphix amazing, but not the actual campaign, so they just stole something. Both games suck, but I've already bought MW3. Out of the two though, I'm glad I chose the right one.

If you ask me nobody's looking at the campaign to much. I didn't think it was too fun I got one shotted out of nowhere, I got bored of constant death even on normal mode you can die rather easily just by a few shots. The game itself is fun, multiplayer is a blast, the campaign is great, better than I have seen out of most games. I wouldn't recommend the campaign to anyone unless you want those easy to get achievements.
