Ron Paul is a visionary. Actually, he is only suggesting things that the founding fathers inforced at the infancy of our country. Ron Paul is the only one that can save us in 2012. Any other candidate will lead us further down the rabbit hole.
I agree with him on the foreign policy issues, I disagree with him on the domestic policy issues.
We need to use the income tax to support education, scientific research, health care, etc. All of the things that could improve the quality of life of all Americans. We should spend the income tax money on domestic issues, not cut it out altogether.
Holy shit! this is the first time in my life that i agree with a republican. The guy is not a hypocrit, he says the painfull truth about american policy and he really seems to mean what he says. The only thing you have to police is what u look for. If you want trouble go find it. That has been america policy for the last 60 years.
I love the fact that your criticizing me for not doing my research. YOU SUPPORT RON PAUL. Have you seen his policies? Ending public support for education, worker's rights, civil rights (except for the patriot act oddly), ending the separation of church and state, supporting ridiculous earmarks he claims to despise. As far as the 9-11 commission report goes...you have to keep reading Bin Laden goes on to discuss the moral bankruptcy of America.
It really appears that you haven't done your research. He thinks it would be a good idea to end FEDERAL aid for education. He strongly against the patriot act, I don't know where you got that from. I don't know where you got that he wants to end the separation of church and state he blatantly stated the opposite in the Bill Moyers interview. And do you think Bin Laden would have actually bombed America if only he thought we were morally bankrupt? I don't.
Ending FEDERAL aid for education is a fucking terrible idea. Education is a necessaery public good and many schools need federal aid to be halfway decent and ending federal aid would mean greatly diminished support for higher education. The point that I was making about the patriot act is that it is the ONLY civil rights legislation he has supported. He wouldn't support desegregation because suprise its a state issue.
We were not attacked because we were over there. We were attacked because of their extreme relgious views. They don't just attack America. They attack other countries and most of all each other. The real point to be made is Afghanistan and Iraq are two different countries. We can't invade every country in the middle east. Unless there is a cultural revolution in these contries there will always be terrorism.
We that understand the views of a man like Ron Paul, will never make those that are brainwashed understand the constitution. We live in a world where the audiences of the WWA influence the world. War on terrorists? War on drugs? How about War on ignorance? I hate to say it, "we are doomed", MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS!
i agree. we are doomed, we are damned... God save us all. i am terribly pessimistic about this, but i will keep fighting for ron paul and his rEVOLution.
What Ron Paul failed to mention is #1.The only thing income taxes are used for is to pay interest to the FEDERAL RESERVE on money that they "LEND" (create out of thin air) to the American people - which has become MORE AND MORE to fund our illegal wars and #2. Income taxes are illegal, unconstitutional and were OVER RULED by the Supreme Court. The elitist bankers HIGH JACKED our monetary system. Income taxes are ILLEGAL. PLEASE, if you don't understand this, educate yourself and others.
and the other good movie that opened my eyes lately was "the zeitgeist" though i have some qualms with part i. but the last section in particular of "the zeitgeist" addresses the founding of the federal reserve and the illegality of the income tax.
No one has any right to treat you like that Ron Paul. Stupid accusative thrown at you, yet you still manage to speak the truth clearly and honestly. The mainstream is totally unfair; bring up statements from 1988, not letting you speak, and trying you make you look bad. Thanks for sticking it through Ron Paul.
We are at high risk for very bad recession. Check him out as he takes on Bernanke. Within 6 months I believe we'll see the first signs that the average person can understand. Perhaps then more will see that serious change is necessary.
What is nuts is the amount of brainwashed people in America, brainwashed by a Neo Con Propaganda movement that has them half way retarded and focused on Monday Night Football, American Idol and Fox News. A Neo Con movement that has dumb down our people through their poor but deliberate management of our educational system. A Neo Con movement that has convinced you that murdering human innocent human beings is ok as long as they don't carry an American Passport.
There's nothing nuts about The Constitution, it allows us to be free and be a racist if we want to, or have a whore house in Vegas if that's the case, ... it even gives you the right to portray yourself as holy as you want to be (ie, Huckabee).
I watched "Meet the Press" live this morning, not only did Dr. Paul answered accurately to Russerts antagonistic questions but educated him and the rest of America on what our country stands for, what the right economic theory is, how non-interventionism is more productive than "murder on its bigger scale", better known as war, what the meaning of Freedom and Liberty is, both personal and economic.
Unfortunately, Russert didn't allow him to explain what earmarks are.
Money from the general fund are put aside for earmarks and are spent REGARDLESS if they are set aside for special projects or not! Ron would do away with earmarks entirely and votes accordingly.
His example of tax breaks is appropriate, but most people won't underatand.
Visionary. It just sounds off putting because he's a statesman and not a politician, telling the truth like it is. The truth often sounds foreign when your so used to having to eat shit from Washington and the new media 24/7.
i cant believe they killed this interviewer for question bush and kerry about their skull and bones association!

Guys, Ron Paul is a certifiable nut. Look at his eyes...creepy. He is against doing anything on anything. Typical libertarian. With nutty leanings.

It takes a nut to be a visionary in this day and age. Like Ron Paul says, we can't AFFORD our income tax or foreign policy anymore.
