this song had NOTHING to do with Syd Barrett. The group officially announced Barrett was no longer a member of Pink Floyd on April 6 1968. This song was recorded July of 1969 and released May of 1971

@schmittelt YES ive loved this scince it first came out and this was my favourite track coz for some bizarre reason i love burlesque music and this sooo is. it also reminds me of the son in steptoe and son, going to clubs and trying 'to pull a bird'

those are some bad ass leads in the middle of the song. the music has a jazzy kind of sound with rock n roll blues guitar and keyboard twist to it. makes it sound so awsome.
