Never used to like this song, it just seemed lacking somehow, what with all the driving, sonically powerful songs they have in their back catalogue. Since it seemed not too dissimilar from their formula, it seemed nothing special. But, lyrically, it is a dark song of some current/future world state infused with a eloquently written optimistic message. And vocally, it is spot on, the whole thing, really tying up the album well.
