Elizebeth Warren is probably one of the smartest individuals I have come across in a long time. It's people like her that need to be in Public Office rather than half the baffoons that we have in Washington at the moment. But then again, the people of this country put these baffoons into office in the first place.
Or, just drop the corporate income tax rate to 0%, and money lenders won't have to think of ever more ridiculous ways to stay in the black.
Oh, wait... my mistake... profit isn't a necessity; it's just a luxury of the evil, greedy rich - and the real purpose of business is service to others, not oneself.
She is Angelic.....anyone who knows the divine, she speaks not only from mundane knowledge, but informed by some wonderful moral place. She is a hero!!
She is the first political figure in my life--and I am 66 years old and a Viet Nam vet--that I can wholeheartedly get behind. Fuck the Republicans for trying to shut her down, and fuck the Democrats for letting them.

It's very telling about those congressmen who are so vehemently opposed to the appointment of Elizabeth Warren when she's proposing things like requiring credit card and mortgages to be written in clear language most people understand. If a legislator from your area is upset about her trying to do this, that pretty clearly demonstrates that they are for big business, not for you. Vote those people out of office please.
@AKSBSU No one rejects the idea of having credit cards/mortgages written in plain language-although they are legal contracts and most legalese has to be what it is or lawyers will make mince meat out of it- and then the little guy will get screwed in court. (how do you win that one?)
What most people object to about Ms Warren is her socialist beliefs that 'The State" has a right to decide where, how and when to spend other people's hard earned money
If some members of Congress had their way, there would be no labels on anything and making good nutrition choices or buying good financial products would be a thousand times more difficult.
You have to give the buyer INFORMATION in order to have a functioning free market. In the banking industry or -any- industry.
