I thought this scene was when he came home after the Bank Truck heist, and he's all wired still on adrenaline. It looks to me like he's crashing from the 'juice', which is the action he was in. This is an awesome scene, but I don't think Tom's on drugs or acting mentally strange. You just killed a guy point blank and got away with a shitload of money, and now you have to act like a normal family man. This scene shows that perfectly.
this is an intereting scene because you really don't know much about michaels family life. not like this scene really says much about it anyway though, but it's something.
this movie is great because both the good guys and bad guys have their own personal lives; it gives them depth. They also didnt overdo it, and now I know what happened to the extra scenes haha
Why the fuck did they delete this scene? Everyone else had scenes with their family, why not Cheritto? Especially since he was the one guy out of all of them with the most to lose - as far as I know he was the only one with kids. Sad what happened to him, though I can't say he didn't deserve it.
The funny thing is this actually does happen in real life. Come home to the fam after some illegal ass shit.

i felt like they didn't really show enough of his family, compared to the other characters.

They should have tried doing this better. interesting scene, but obviously not well enough to get in movie.

This scene was alright, they could have done without that odd "Huh?" from tom sizemore and this scene would have fit well with the rest of the film

His home life wasn't shown. They should have kept his scenes in. Thanks for these.

Which part of the movie for this to be fitted in? Before the heat or after?

@hsieh811 I think right after the armored transport hold up at the beginning of the movie....but I may be wrong ;)

well the idea was to show that he is putting his situation at risk while taking the bank job.
the look on his face suppose to be enough.
though there is a reason to cut the scene
