@kmvoss Hen's not really lipsyncing, he just has that raspy-quiet vocals sung over a backing track of the actual song. Her voice has the same effect, except she actually sing loud enough for her vocals to be heard.
to further reiterate my point, this is literally the only version of this song "live" that i can find on this website. i guess they were so terrible that they were only allowed to perform in french speaking sectors of the world

And you can hear when the girl says "if you steal my sunshine" it is very shorter than on album. And the main singer's voice sounds more raw. And I don't recall hearing those rap parts in the studio version.
