  • Italo have you ever fished at cold lake Ab for lakers theres some enormous ones there nothing to pull up a 15-20 lb`r

  • @MrMrtiki I have not, but it's sounds like a real trophy lake trout fishery. I have only fished northern Alberta in the summer time, north of High Level for walleye, pike and smaller lake trout....God bless you, Italo

  • that looks like a big bully?

  • @SinfulMagnum I know, Bull Trout are part of the Char Family, same as Lake Trout, Brook Trout (Speckle Trout), Arctic Char and Dolly Varden Trout, so they can look very similar...God bless you, Italo

  • yeah i fish it all summer and all winter and only for lakers and walleye

  • @daj145 No wonder you catch so many big fish....God bless you, Italo

  • you must not fish simcoe alot then

  • @daj145 That's right, I live near Niagar Falls, and it's a long drive up. I fish it a couple of time through the ice and a couple of times during open water (mostly for perch)...God bless you, Italo

  • thats so small for lake simcoe i live right on lake simcoe 15lbs avarage

  • @daj145 Wow, that's a big average. I think most of the lakers we have caught over tthe years have averaged 5-10 lb. (28-33")...God bless you, Italo

  • Hi There, you can have excellent ice fishing at Midland Bay, Tiffin Basin, Hog Bay, Sturgeon Bay & Waubaushene Bay. Species available range from panfish (crappie & perch), to pike, walleye and even rainbow trout. In the spring, there will be excellent pike fishing in all of the Marina basins. Try twitching a Rapala Husky Jerk #13 around any new weeds. During summer, Sturgeon Bay is excellent for pike. Spinnerbaits will work well around the weeds, God bless you, Italo
