@iamSnip3rOne Something i have noticed in the last book is that everytime Hermione openly and clearly shows affection and tenderness toward Ron it's when he proves himself very compassionate. (when he's worried about the couple in the ministry for example, or again when he wants her to pass as his cousin and of course with the house elves). That's clearly something she was waiting for, hoping for, to see in him.

I loved everything about this scene-from Hermione pummeling him (as angry/peeved as she is at him for leaving her, she is so in love with him) and "where's my wand" LOL to Ron's sincere, heartfelt, sweet, and loving apology. It is more compelling in the book. And no offense judging by your username, you wish that Hermione and Harry would be together. The thing that really made the scene beautiful to me is Ron meant every word, he didn't try to impress Hermione, he only was expressing how much he loved her and that is a beautiful thing what a man would do for a woman. You don't have to impress someone with words of stunning diction to impress; I love you is just enough or words of honesty.

I didn't love this scene for the romance. I loved this scene because right at the moment that Ron gave this speech I began thinking about when this series (the movies that is) first began, and I started thinking about how far these three have come in nearly 10 years. It's amazing that they have stuck with it for this long, and even more amazing that they have evolved as actors. I finished Deathly Hallows 3 years ago so I've known how it all ends for a long time but even then I'll be sad in July.
