  • great review

  • Great Review, thank you.

  • Have you tried the KomodoSports? How do they compare to the Bikilas?

  • what would you recommend for a sprinter with really wide feet looking for a shoe like this for long distance cardio because i have regular running shoes but its hard to get form down with out spikes on and the track i use has the rubber taken off so its just concrete which means no gripping and simetimes i grow tired of the look of my newbalances

  • @scribbless1986 also im bout to go on a week long trek might they be good for hiking as well

  • I was trying to get down with the shoe color because I was attracted to the $60 compared to the other $90 Bikilas but its just not working. Im going to have to go with the red and white.

  • @FuckManAllGuys I wrote the book on fakes -- these aren't fake. They came straight from Vibram. Google [guide to fake five fingers].

  • do they last a long time? $100 is a lot. are they worth it?! why not water shoes?

  • @ydrjtt Vibrams are made of VERY high quality materials, as long as they are not highly abused they will last a very long time, even with lots of use they will last a long time, also washing correctly is very important, get a pair you will love them.

  • @TheZachOlauson i did get some! what is considered "highly abused"? Can you wash them using a normal washer?

  • @ydrjtt I would say as long as stuff is like rubbing on the tops too much then theres no way they would tear, like I said they are made of quality materials. To was them I just make sure I put the velcro straps on securely, put them in a pillow case and put them in the washer on delicate with some stuff called Sports Wash (Got it at Walmart in the sporting goods section) and then to dry them I just leave them outside over night

  • do they last a long time? $100 is a looot

  • as others have said/asked... where did u find that color combo?

  • I read your review like five times and its a coincidence that I watched you video review

  • they look. I am going to get a pair now.

  • I have the yellow, blue, and grey ones they cost me bout all my allowance i got a size 34 thankfully they fit btw I'm ten years old : P

  • do you know if the bikilas break down in the winter easy?.

cause thats wat kinda happened to mind, but then i hear that they last for a long time and i have mine for 4 months now

  • Are they womens shoes just cerious bc the color

  • I want these bakilas in that color they look so sick

  • These vs KSO for freerunning?

    These vs KSO for parkour?

Your opinion on best VFF for freerunning?

Your opinion on best VFF for parkour?

    Thx

  • @warman0712 Aren't parkour and freerunning the same thing?

  • @shaokem No. There's a difference between the two. Parkour is getting somewhere by using the quickest route (pretty much going straight) while having some fun going in that direction. While freerunning is getting to that same place but doing tricks and going the best way for having fun (more things to do tricks off of).

  • I have a pair of KSO and I love them. I just recently ordered a pair if the trek sport do you have any video reviews of those?

  • @yllibslayer

My only pair of 5fingers currently is the trek sport, its a great all around vibram, good enough for hicking, trail running, football with the guys. However running long distance's on pavement or a treadmill gave me a blister on my right foot. I guess its just THAT specific shoe but I tried on a KSO and just walking around its a night and day difference. The Trek has a "heavy duty" sole so its more padded with more traction.

  • Great Video, anyone who would like a pair in ireland check out the fit feet.ie website :-)

  • in the womens model the upper is smaller than the KSO, but the mens are fine (i tried on like 80 pair today).

  • R U RITCH OR SOMETHING? MAN I WISH I HAD MONEY TO BUY AT LEAST ONE PAIR

  • I have a pair of classics and I love the idea of the five fingers , but my toes are to short and they hurt me between my toes really bad . I wish they would come out with a pair that are stretchy between the toes !

  • Another thing that is not mentioned is the fact that the Velcro is reversed, that is, the Velcro will not attach itself to sweatpants as it does with Sprint and KSO. The softer side Velcro is facing up; the rougher side Velcro is facing down. A plus with Bikila.

  • i <3 my bikilas

  • @jnowings Do you think that these shoes run big or small as compared to tradtional running shoes?

  • can you feel the difference in souls compared to the KSO's?

  • I <3 Bikila!

My Classics wore out so I had to update.

    They're even more perfect.

  • i want the bikilas so bad but i think its pretty dumb how they only have sizes 10 and up. i wear 39 so are they trying to say that people with small feet cant wear them???

  • @911truck try womans sizes! :)

  • Are they good for parkour?

  • @Yanks777Jets75 I guess you have to move down to women's sizing. Hope that helps.

  • @Yanks777Jets75 i also didn't find a review for the new vff's

  • I'm just starting parkour, and I was wondering if these should be the Vibrams I wear. Or should I choose the KSO?

Also, why such limited availability online? What's up with that? Haven't they been out for a while now?

  • @blackbriar246

Get the KSO's...these are made specifically for running and they don't look all that great to me.

  • Water sports okay? or just get the FLOW model? I workout allot along beach in San Diego, in and out of water, have Keens H2's now, looking at these type of shoes.

  • Thanks for the review. I've had a pair of KSO's for about 2 weeks. They are AWESOME! I never want to take them off. As soon as my funds allow I hope to get a pair of the blue Bikilas(Avatar feet) for running. I'm up to 2.5 miles in my KSOs.

  • this video makes the blue bikila not as loud looking as the picture make 'em, nice vid.

  • @rbalmes3

They aren't actually loud, nor even as in the video. That blue is really a rather faded blue (no green at all, either unlike shown in some pictures).

I know that because I ordered them,

I turned them back a few days later because they fit much snugger and were uncomfortable.

Besides, the back part is too high (the notch around the Achilles tendon), and they fit loosely well at the back, probably because unlike other FiveFingers models there's no back strap in the FiveFingers Bikila.

  • Damn, I just Got the KSOs now I want this =(

  • look great i just dont think they will last as long as running shoes at the same or a bit higher cost

  • wow great review :D i just had a quick question about the bikila, I have the kso's and they smell absolutely horible, is there any improvement on the stink factor with the bikila's?

  • @Rawwwwwwrq You can wash them in your washer. But let them air dry in a well lit room. I wash mine once a week and have no problems with them smelling.

  • Thank you.

  • which five finger is good for parkour? kso, bikila or speed? thanks

  • Dude! You're a size 43 too?!?! Any chance you could hook me up! LOL just kidding man! I have the patience to wait! Nice review dude! I'm using a lot of your observations to sell FF at work!!!

  • got mine today they are sooo nice! thumbes up to vibram!

  • Hey I want to get a pair of KSOs but I'm kind of hesitant because I'm hearing that these shoes don't last too long, and I'm a college student on a budget! Can you confirm that these shoes will stay usable for about as long as other shoes of the same general price? Thanks.

  • Yes, it is strange that they now make a vibram that's closer to a running shoe, -and also that they then choose to call it Bikila... Looks like the heel is thicker also. Might make form difficult. How are they compared to other vibrams?

  • @murerbent @crypto666 -- though the Bikila has more "padding" than the KSO, it's important to note that we're talking 2mm at the forefoot. All told, the Bikila measures about 7.5mm (or less) at the forefoot, which is slightly (a bit more than a mm) thicker than the KSO. I don't recall the heel measurement but the heel is definitely not elevated (I think if you look at the first impressions Bikila post on BirthdayShoes I put it there). So I'd say yes, it's still more a minimalist running shoe.

  • @jnowings i measured my foot verryyy carefully many times, its a little over 9 1/2 do you think a size 40 mens would fit well? i want these sooo bad ...

  • why are they more "shoe-like"? i thought vibram is trying to move away from the shoe thing?

  • @cyrpto666

Exactly. I think what Vibram is trying to do is trying to go more mainstream. They're kinda keeping it barefoot to stay with the theme and giving it padding and all that crap to cater to the newcomers and mainstream crowd.

  • Hey there. Good review. I was curious as to if you wear the special socks with any of the vibrams you own? Would you recommend them or do these shoes not really require them?

    Thanks for the help.

  • why aren't these on the vibram website???

  • i didn't see the sticker on the footbed for the first day and it left a smudge/streak it ticked me off...

  • i love it!!! sky blue/yellow/gray awesome

  • are you a runner? would you recommend the bikila for someone who does 2,3,5 miles every other day?

  • @sillydavidperson im a beginner and Im doing about 2-3 miles a day and I would def recommend these
