@24loloolee Oh, he wasn't picking RUSSELL up, Russell picked a man up for Simon. Simon tells the story and without using names in his stand up and in hindsight it's obvious the 'friend' he was with was Russell.

I'm in the US too and I fell for Simon; bought the Region 2 DVD and almost CRIED when I couldn't play it on my comp or dvd player. Managed to do it though.

Though I didn't put two and two together and realize that Russell was the friend he was talking about until I read a comment on another video.

I feel kinda stupid.

@JDWilson92 yeah i know. people who would get offended by russell brand don't listen to his show for that reason.  so why does the media take the joke out of context and give it to people who wouldn't see it as a joke?

I wish they would talk more about their philosophies. I think simon's a nihilist and Russell's more of an absurdist though both are surely existentialists.

This show should not have been axed. But yet again [typical of UK radio] anything thats funny/entertaining that doesnt solely need music as it theme and relays on talk, pranks and having fun must be stopped. If anyone gets a chance look at the videos on my channel all taken from radio shock Jock Tim Shaw. His stuff is 10 times more crazy then anything Brand/Ross did [burgling his bosses house being 1 of many] yet because Ross/Brand r bigger names they have to b made an example of.

This was the show one week after the drama first happened. It was broadcast on the 25th October.

I miss the show so much :( And Matt Morgan! I haven't seen/ heard Russell and Matt together since last september!

Was that when they were talking about super ted or some other cartoons? Because I thought he said that to but he didnt. He said camp but because russell spoke over him it sounds like c**t. Russell says "He was a right..." and matt says camp at the same time to make it sound like he swears but he does not.

Noel Gallagher had said that he would go on...and Russell wanted Noel to come on with him. Did that ever end up happening?
