  • I prefer that the lower arm is in a near vertical position. IMO it makes for a better starting position for presses and push-presses.

  • great instruction Andrew- great not to have to listen to some stupid heavy rock type soundtrack in the background.

Wish I lived near you I would enjoy your simple to understand mode of instructions .

Thanks very much mate I may be bruise free soon !!!

  • Great video.

  • Hi mate. as you saw in the seminar, even this drill wont automatically nail it: it may need a week to "bed in".

  • Great video....thanks again Andrew!

  • Awesome! Thanks!

  • Pretty funny, the handle is nice, though it as well does not seem like regulation size...

  • thanks for the comment. the handle is one of many experimental ones I had made Do remember there is no such thing as a "regulation" kettlebell. a kettlebell is a ball( or roundish shape..... some are oval) with a handle, and can be whatever size, weight or colour that you like. Thank god for diversity.

  • Oh, actually there is ;)

The AKC has those out and some others. I believe the world kettlebell club should be helping out nowadays with the sizes too... that is not for fitness but for the sport!

  • A very clear, practical, well presented tip on nailing the clean. Well done!

  • Good way to learn the clean!!! where can i buy a Kettlebell similar to the one you are using in this video? Has nice large Handle, unlike some Kettlebells.

  • Hi, Im afraid thats one I had custom made in India, although the handle turned out to be too big. what size were you after? I'll work out which commercially avaiable type has the biggest handle for that weight.

  • Basically i just got one from OtiumFitness here in the UK, and I just noticed that the Handle was so small that Kettlebell rests on my wrist joint(unlike the forearm) and it is impossible to keep a straight wrist. very painfull too!

Im looking for something around 20-24kg.

Thanks for the quick reply mate !

  • good idea
