the only down fall of this computer is windows sucks it will destroy itself over time simply because people dont kno how to maintain a computer and do regular maintenance on a computer...but a mac will last longer and its easier to use which is the ultimate reason most people buy a mac

@AF1KingKid i think u missunderstood sumthng, ppl buy mac bcoz they duno hw to maintain thier system themselves, so they need updates and apps to spoon feed them. ppl been saying windows is full of virus or wad and it needs to do maintanence, but for once, i use my acer laptop for almost 3 years without problem, bcoz i noe hw to keep my laptop clean and tidy.

NONE!!! They all average at $2700!!! (we're talking Alienware and such!)

I have trouble finding a place to give HP feedback so here it is- improve the battery life for next year's 17 inch model and make all the USB ports 3.0! There also seems to be some kind of epidemic with troubling build quality and wobbling in these laptops. For a premium laptop, this is very troubling. If you can have a solid 7-10 hours of battery life like in the MacBooks, this will be a perfect laptop. Make sure you fix the build quality first though!

The HP Envy series is just a cheaper, worse version of the apple MacBook Pro line. Even the advertisement is similar! It is safe to say that microsoft has no originality. And I use an HP Pavilion dv6... I would much rather use a Mac though...

@IfmonkeysWereReal HP Envy series, is for people who don't want to pay a lot to make the people who buy Mac's look stupid. It's internals surpass anything that Mac can provide at this time. I wouldn't let an advertisement decide anything for me until I'd actually used the product.

@PianoScience i have a mac mini and i had a macbook air at some point, nah this thing is better all around,better graphics,better processor(quad core with turbo boost),better memory as well...i agree that they copied the MBP design but as far as specs go the HP is superior by a long shot
