I think it is a great for casual PC user, but its also a great upgradable computer. since then I've upgraded my RAM to 2GB, expanded my HDD to 500GB [enough room for my games] and an NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT card. All that's left for me to make my games run better is a Dual Core processor.
well i have 512 mb ram and i need to upgrade it does not want to run games it cannot play games because of the graphics card of course but its a solid machine its really nice i can't even use all of the memory and i'm still figuring things about it can anyone point me to the right direction in graphics cards? and if you get a new card will it make a difference in the videos playin and in the backgrounds?
yes i agree e machine suck ballz but not all of them really suck me i custom make my i got a netbook acer aspire one and the custom made 1 is a quad dual runing a 2.8 processor speed with a good 8 gb ram i upgrade my good hard drive i got 3 in there first 1 is a 100 gb yea i know that ols the second is a 500 gb and the last a my main 1 of corse it willbe a good 1 i got a 2 tera byre hard drive for my main i will upgrade the 100 gb hard drive later
I have this machine, it's the same model and everything BUT, it's different on the inside, I noticed that my emachine has a 1x PCI express slot and the one on this video doesn't, are there 2 versions of the W3619? and my fan is different as well, it's more like a square with smooth edges last but not least my PCI express slot is red instead of black... I'm confused now, but I ordered a 550 watt power supply plus a Geforce 8800 GTX, I need it for video games and working with 3D programs.
hey Im looking to upgrade this same system with what you say you just orderd. Did the graphics card and supply go in easy? And does you computer handle fine with the new upgrades?
if I were you I would just built my own computer because you're going to have to upgrade EVERYTHING, for example if you buy a video card you need a power supply, if you buy games you have to buy RAM if you can't play some games well for example Crysis you need to buy a new processor if your computer over heats you need to buy a better fan and last but not least you'll need to buy a new mother board because the mother mooard in W3619 isn't that good for games like Crysis.
I bought a 9600 instead, no money. The 9600 fit in the e-machine and, I can still play Crysis but it looks crappy because of the processor... the processor is a pentium 4 and it SUCKS! if you're going to built your own computer or buy a processor make sure it's either a duo core or quad core AMD's quadcores are better than stupid duo quads from Intel. quad core has 4 processors plus 4 pipe lines and duo quads have 4 processors and 2 pipe lines which mean less speed, AMD man make sure it fits.
I just got the T3642 with AMD athlon 64 processor 4000+,Invidea GeForce 6100, hard drive 250 gb,1gb mem.cost $300 bucks this is my first computer, now I neede to loaD UP SOME VIDEOS. im HAPPY WITH IT.
It is great for its price! I owned a XP Laptop around 900 bucks, bought the emachine for 400 and WOW I think it is faster and better. But the Vista program could be better like XP. But the computer it self is great!!! Gotta get it!
my dad gave me my first PC when i was young. It was actually his PC but he does not use it anymore. Quite an old PC to begin with, it does not have the capabilities of today's standards but i've started upgrading it since then.
Already got broadband and of course your computer power will affect a video buffer you fool. If you have a pentium 2 pc with 4mb broadband or a quadcore pc with 4mb broadband its obvious the quadcore will be better equipped to deal with streaming, regardless of graphic card options. Anyway it was a joke.
i have that machine with 2gb memory a gforce 8600 512mb a 600watt power supply and a 7.1 sound card all that install in my emachine jejejeje and not to forget windows vista ULTIMATE
Vista is stable, any crashes in vista is the users fault. I have been running 32 bit vista ultimate for 3 months, no crashes, and no BSODs. 512MB of ram is alright for vista basic, just aslong as the computer isnt loaded with crapware. Aslong as you have recent hardware or vista compatable hardware you will have no problems.
I haven't had a single problem with Vista.. well, I had one blue screen but that was due to a faulty driver I downloaded, no fault to Vista.. and it was A LOT easier to recover from that error on Vista than it ever was to recover from ANY error on my old xp machine. Didn't lose any data, no corrupted files, didn't even have to boot into safe mode.. Vista detected the issue and automatically reset itself to before I installed the driver. :D
Same here as with the other guys. I am currently running Windows Vista and have been for about six months. No problems at all. No blue screens, no crashes, no viruses, nothing. Its also alot easier to use than XP, but each to his own.
True its not my pc mine its my bros lol mine was stolen but I ordered a BEAST..not an emachine by the way..and I downgraded to Windows XP and its a hell alot faster then it was with vista
i had vista for a while and i didnt have any problems at all. I upgraded to 7 and it resulted to be better...

"Why upgrade your machine when you can get a new computer with Windows Vista?"

I can tell you exactly how good emachines are.
This video is 5:29 long right?....Well it took me 24 minutes to watch it.

Dumb ass, how slow you watched this video have nothing to do with emachines. Instead get rid of the dail up and get a cable.

when it has 2gb of ram and at least a 256 mb graphics card then you can use vista and stable in the same sentence.
