but when i download any addon bpo files and place them in the addons file in the games program files - nothing works!!! i place the units in a custom mission and they just dont appear...

Btw. Regarding planes on nimitz. I didn't played OFP in a long time, but there are propably some scripts that allow user to put them right on the deck. Try searching the addons archive file, there should be txt with manual for the addon. Also the nimitz may not work for all the planes but those that were made specifically for it. I know that those are only maybes, but checking out these things might help. Hope it does.
