Of course the Lord told us not to judge, but when a False Teacher is easily exposed, it is our job to make it clear so others are not deceived. God will judge Mr. Dowd rightfully, I am merely trying to point out errors in his doctrine which *should* be *obvious* to any Bible believer.
Well it is true. Knowing evolution does not necessarily lead you into atheism. It just makes it a reasonable position that is all. And pretty much anything can be made compatible with theology. So people can keep their religion all be it in a diluted form -- religion gets toxic when it is concentrated. Watered down religion will keep people comfortable for the time being at least. But I still feel it is a bit paternalistic. One must get used to taking some bitter pills.
This guy is still an idiot, and wow he doesn't even think Satan is a thing in the world, wow - he is way more decieved that I originally thought, I am very concerned that people like this even exist - to spread such harmful and unfounded doctrines, an abomination for sure.
You guys are full of shit. Didn't Jesus tell you not to judge? I know he may be a little dishonest in reinterpreting Scripture, but if that's what it takes for the Christian-psychotic masses to accept scientific principles then more power to him. I commend him for trying to move Christianity into a more reasonable, scientific direction.
His pantheistic God makes more fucking sense with the tri-omni explanation of God than a magical, fairy type of deity poofing things into existence in 7 days.
I think a short refection on the Yin/Yang symbol first introduced to mankind in the far east might come to play here. Right & Left brain, black & white, powerful and meek, simple and complex... the infinite binaries of the cosmos. And then there are the shades of gray. What color is your world?
I'm guessing these Evangelical colleges use the word THEORY when teaching Evolution. Unlike this "Pastor", who doesn't mention it is a theory once. THE WORD THEORY itself, can mean a well tested, and widely accepted belief. It can also be used to describe a completely abstract speculation, that is based on very little knowledge, that draws its conclusion with complete conjecture. Just because a lot of scientists like evolution, does not mean they are correct.
Even if he used the word theory, that doesn't lower the credibility of evolution. The word theory NEVER means an abstract speculation in science. I don't know what crack you've been smoking, but scientific theories go through rigorous peer-review testing, debate and scrutiny before being injected into the mainstream science publications.
Your ignorance on evolution is outstanding. Scientists don't have to like evolution. All that matters is the evidence we have for it which is overwhelming.
well you dont want the big red guy with horns and a tail to get you. do you?

This would be a very interesting presentation to see, but it is not very sharp and ends just when it's getting interesting.
