@PCRampagE the black editions are made for overclocking. people have gotten them to 7 something with extreme cooling setups. i leave mine at 3.8 ghz just because i have a stock fan and i like to keep it at under 32 degrees idle

@Iopipimps Dude, RAM fits under the D14, how else will you install ram, only tall RAM with tall heatsinks like the corsair dominator won't fit. Other RAM that is a bit tall like gskill ripjaws will fit if you push the fan up a bit.

It also depends on the Motherboards, P67 and P55 has RAM slots real close to the CPU.

Dude I am sorry but this was an improper review. The temps you posted seem ridiculous, only a delta of 8c with over clocking seems impossible. Please put this system in a case with some decent video cards (simulate a real world situation) and see what you get. In Minnesota it gets below zero but I would surely not do a review sitting with an open test bench and all my house windows open. Also you missed out so many more details, like ambient temps, the paste you used, how long the test ran for,
