I loved this game so much. I think that I've played through it 4x. The storyline is just LEAGUES above any other game I've played. I can't force myself through the time-based battle system anymore though. They should make a high-budget anime of the entire storyline. Then I would just watch that over and over.

@brett2tt The game has an insane room for improvement. The game mechanics/content were decent at best. What made Final Fantasy VII amazing was the story and content. Everything else was in the "okay" range.

The fact that the FFVII project was rushed should be proof enough to you. They lucked out on this game being one of the most memorable RPGs of all time. There's actually legitimate room for redevelopment on things such as the battle-system.
