ha, Matt forgot the lyrics to the second verse! Doesn't matter though, I was so fucking stoked that they decided to play this for Into the Mouth of Hell We Tour. It is a little slower, doesn't quite have the swing/groove of the album version, but still is one of their best songs ever. I was at the SoCal show a couple of weeks after this, and in the intro, Matt said this song is difficult to play live. His actual words are "this one's a fuckin' workout on us, so you better be movin' too!" lol

No, it's more that in the recording of this song, they had someone hold down the frets and handle the main melody for that part while they repeat the riff over and over. I'm glad they found a way to make it work.

@dixie60 if you look at the setlists online, every once and a while they'll throw in 'detonation' and 'to the rats', but they're not the same songs you've come to know and love they've changed them drastically (in my opinion for the better) check them out

iv been waiting to see this for a while but.. eek.. hes really trashing his voice. i can see why he didnt wana scream again, because any time he trys to do the rougher stuff in his singing voice it just sounds all fucked up. i know first hand how hard it is to mix rougher singing with screaming, they both wear down your throat pretty quickly.
