Why are street preachers being arrested in this country for preaching against homosexuality? Gideons arent allowed to pass out Bibles to fifth graders because it might offend someone. No you wont get stoned but you sure can be put in jail for speaking the truth in this country. In this great nation of ours good is being called evil and evil is being called good.

@1954phyllis I don't think you understand. The truth that you know and think is right, isn't the "REAL TRUTH".
The "truth" is far away from human's reach. The bible can be the holiest book to you, and it could be just another fictional novel that has scientific proof written a long time ago. Is there a right answer? Not really.
What you think is right or wrong can be judged in OH SO many ways.
This is life. The endless conflict of their own bias opinions.

We are very different, and been through a lot of different things, thus we have different judgments and different beliefs. But it does not mean i am right and you or wrong.
What is SO true to you , can be SO not true to me.

Creation isnt taught at school for a reason. It will cause too much religious debates/ arguements.
Of course everyone thinks their religion is the one true religion. So when someone says "my god says creation happened", other will say "well my god says different."
But when you say "according to science," It doesn't really have to be what you believe. Its not trying to convert you to their religion.

because christianity believe that homosexuality is a choice, and that god hates fags.
But this is only one belief out of many. But just because you believe something is wrong, doesn't mean you can go ahead and insult people that god hates faggots.
Now im not gay, but IF i was, and a preacher comes up to me and says "hey, god fucking hates you and you will burn in hell." I'd take it as an insult.

@1954phyllis i prayed to god for 3 hours a day when i was a christian, and you know what happened? my friend died in a fucking car crash. Do you even know the fucking pain i've been through because of that? do you know the feeling of being betrayed? Lets say you're love-ones are to die right now. Imagine the feeling. How would you feel? "thank you god for leading us to your way" ? Can you say that with a pure and clean mind? I cant.
God made me a human, he made me the man i am today.

@oreowizard1 I would like for you to tell me how your friend died, if you don't mind. It is easy for people to blame God when tragedy strikes. My sister died of cancer in December on last year. I saw her waste away. She couldnt even eat, all she got was a little bit of water on a sponge. Sometimes it isnt God's fault when someone dies. Some tragic events happen because of someone else's carelessness.

Why can't i accept christ? It has no connection to my 6 senses.
when i was a devote, i prayed for 3 hours. What i got was silence. but like the priests said, god is still loving and that i must try harder, i prayed 3 hours a day for 2 years. You know what happened to me?
My friend died from a car accident. My family is running out of money

I hated god. This became the reason i abandoned Christianity.
If god intended to give me hard times to bring me closers to him, than sucks for him, because it made me turn my back against him.
I actually opened my eyes, and realised i was brainwashed bad.
all the shit they talked about other religions passed by me.
Christianity mocks and pities Catholics, Judaist, Muslim, Buddist, and Hinduism, and all the other religion.
